Honestly, the songs so far have been great, and a lot of deep cuts on the albums are usually non singles. The band really does spoil us, though. Here we are a month and a half out from the new album and we've already heard almost TWENTY minutes of the album, and there's still like 50-55 minutes left. 2 videos, tons of concept info (especially in yesterday's interview), it's a great time to be a fan!

I’m not familiar with Night Verses so I’m adding to the list right now. Thanks!
EDIT: Jesus, this band is nuts. “Vice Wave”...my goodness.
Crazy, yeah? The album's they released prior to this follow a similar path with ToM as well. Doug Robinson was the singer up until recently, though this was a mutual thing. Crazy to see a band transform so powerfully into a fully instrumental ensemble.

I dunno if you gave it more than one listen but it didn’t do much for me the first time through but then it kept growing on me.
Curious what you’ve been high on lately if this didn’t do it for you. I haven’t checked out a lot of post-rock this year so I need some goodies.
This and Night Verses have been my instrumental rock albums of the year, thus far. Not sure if there's anything else on my radar for release, but I usually find something. I know you didn't ask me, but I wanted to throw in my buck o five.

I'm honestly amazed. This dude has really committed to the troll. It's frightening really.

You're welcome.
Lich Prince is probably my favorite song, followed by Grand Paradise. Bastardizer is really good too but it took a few listens for me to notice how god damn good it is. I'm completely blown away by this album and I've been listening to it non stop. Dealer was my favorite album of 2015 and this will probably end up as my favorite album of 2018
Lich Prince is definitely my top. Heartbeats too. I want to know if that arrangement in the song is an original composition.

Yes.

I'll have to revisit Ten Silver Drops. It kind of gets the "Second Coming" by Stone Roses treatment by most in that it's perceived to be a big letdown from a great debut album (then again, I kind of prefer "Second Coming" to their debut, don't @ me).
I love TSD. It's not as strong as Now Here is Nowhere, but it has it's defining moments ( All At Once [It's Not Important], I Hate Pretending, Faded Lines, 1000 Seconds). To me though, the self titled is one of their best releases. I hope that they do a repress of that because my copy sounds like ass.

They did a stellar job on Now Here Is Nowhere by Secret Machines, and now Ten Silver Drops has a chance to be pressed as well.
Vote my friends, VOTE.
Also, the email said if this title gets pressed, expect a little something that will delight fans. The band has been teasing studio stuff, so I know a new album is on the way (reworked unreleased album, at least)

Any answers as to where the extra 50 came from?

You know what they say "when you can't make real friends, make them up". Wasn't this an episode of the Brady Bunch?

Yep, Coheed is closing all the shows.

thanks man, super helpful, looking into these now since curious...
No prob. I've been reading the comics since they started. The originals are meh, the Second Stage series is good, but messy. In Keeping Secrets definitely improved upon that, with Peter David assisting, and Chris Burnham and then Aaron Kuder on art helping big time. And the newest series, Good Apollo, has really fleshed out the graphic novel that came out in 2005. Rags Morales is a huge name for them too, his art is wild.
-
Also, all the current Amory Wars series can be purchased on Comixology.

where do I see the order of these things, is it just the amory wars or whatever?
is there a digital download thats decent?
the only have one on the website for like $15
The order and what's out there:
Year of the Black Rainbow novel. Still available through ebook sites.
Second Stage Turbine Blade and In Keeping Secrets Utlimate Editions... SSTB covers the 10 issues of the series, and the two Bag.Online. comics that we're intended to be the original series, but never published anything past the 2 issues. And the In Keeping Secrets has all 12 issues of that series, co written by Peter David.
And currently, Good Apollo, directly following In Keeping, has 11 issues published, and issues 12 comes out at the end of the month. Evil Ink Comics site has a link to get all the issues, but there are also 2 trades avaibale, vol 1 covers 1-4 and vol 2 covers 5-8. The last trade will follow, and likely another Ultimate edition that houses the whole series.
*Whew, that was a lot*
