I tried to give them bad feedback, but it would not let me do so.

Honestly, yeah, they are. I emailed them two years ago because I had bad seam splits with my Galactic Melt and it took forever to get a response. When I finally was in touch with someone there, he didn't really come off as very helpful. Keep pestering them though until you get what you want.

Agggggh, damn. Hopefully I can snag one for cheap. Not thrilled with the $100+ prices on discogs.

Had this identical issue and it took three weeks for me to get it. I finally got fed up, cleaned out the inside of the spindle and it worked great after that.
