  1. 1st of 6 records showed up today. Awful mailer, but at least it was a mailer!!! Record and sleeve in fine shape. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's delivery.
  2. Made it to track 2 of "The Golden Casket Vol. 1" (lampshades), and so far it's We were Dead-y. I am not letdown yet. Will follow up post-Pistol. Update: I understand why folks don't like Pistol, but I think he's making some relevant social commentary on how we're destroying ourselves to brink of insanity (aka we're all fucking crazy). TBC... Cont... Overall= A- to a B+ Some tracks are awesome others will grow on me more and a couple I could do without. In a nutshell, I'm very satisfied with the album. I can't wait for Vol. 2.
  3. There is this thing where you can literally line up and wait longer than RSD at Bullmoose on Main Street, America and pay $70 for tickets that permit you to STAND in the back of the orchestra. The standing part is lame, but hey, it's only $70!!! (Personally I'd rather pay $150 for seats, but that's just me). Cool aside: when we went (at least) these two famous people were there (there was this comedian dude, but i can't recall his name, only his face):
  4. haha! I don't really think you have to be hip or wealthy. Just a generalzation. I'm sure you're pretty hip though! My wife and I will go with you. We want to see the OG as Hedwig (as JCM is the only person who could top NPH). It is costly as hell. Totally worth it though. For serious!
  5. People are awful. Sorry you are having to deal with all of this nonesense.
  6. now I managed to get a song stuck in my own head...please allow me to "sing" it for all of you. "I keep making these to-do lists and nothing gets crossed out. Working on the record seems pointless now. When the world ends, who's gonna hear it?"
  7. That sounds rad. It looks like there are only 3 upcoming dates though. None 'round here.
  8. You're welcome. I'm not in NYC proper, but I live about 1 hr or so away. I go a lot. I also encourage seeing a musical. Literally any of them, but I'm a fan of Wicked and Hedwig. I still want to see Book of Mormon. There's also lots of cool little music venues to check out. Williamsburg is literally packed with places. I would love to live there except I'm not hip or wealthy enough to pull that.
  9. Where the fuck is James anyway? I haven't talked to him since like Thurs or Fri.
  10. Hammerstein is meh. Beacon Theatre is beautiful. Radio City is rad. Arena shows (Barclays & MSG) suck. Webster Hall was awesome. Capitol Theater in Port Chester is great. Also, I'm not Lauren (just so we're clear).
  11. Yessir! I'd totally hangout with you and the Champ if we could organize that meetup!
  12. I thought you lived in the city. My bad boo! where do you live in the state of NY?
  13. Chelsea market is always bustling when I go there, but the food is DEE-LISH. Totally worth the hassle. I think working in NYC would be kind of awful for sure. I do love Brooklyn though. I could pick out some pretty awsome places to work there if I had any skills, ambitions, or desires to do any of those things. I once took a tour of the Vice offices when a buddy of mine meet up with this girl that works there. That'd be a neat place to work. Bonus: When you leave the office at 7pm Brooklyn Brewery is across the street!
  14. That sounds like the worst possible location to work ever. Possibly even worse than working in ISIS controlled Iraq. I hope they make it worth it.
  15. This is a very accurate description. The MM I knew pre-Good News and post-Good News are separate to me also. I distinctly remember being mad hearing fucking Float On over and over and over.
