Shaping up to be a real solid album. Definitely seems like Gorillaz is in the mindsets of a lot more folks compared to how it was during the Plastic Beach era. Especially when there is also this to keep in mind: So we might have another album come next year. Of course he did also say that about Plastic Beach 2/Sea-Sides but we're not gonna talk about that.

Looks all dead to me. I remember buying the Flaming Lips and Sleater-Kinney boxsets. Never really had much to complain about them but the recent Popmarket thread seemed to indicate that all wasn't well there.

Have a feeling Humanz could do well in terms of record sales. Maybe one of the biggest releases this year if the demand and hype is delivered. Unfortunately, it seems that both Gorillaz and Warner might have been caught off-guard. Almost like how the same situation happened to VMP with DD, except they at least had the foresight to close off subscriptions before this happened. Pretty sure the vinyl pressing plants will be busy with this record.

Welp, should have just known how this was going to go down. And you don't even get a box for the Volumes either. Might just go with black records at this point. Still can't believe they didn't do a waffle picture disc. -

IV to open the month and Humanz to close it out. It's going to be a really good April. -
Considering that S/T, DD, and PB all have differently blended genres in all of their albums, I don't understand that statement. If you said that you're just not liking the direction they took this time, like alot of people said after PB came out, then that's understandable. Keep in mind the full album isn't even properly out. Might be a grower album for alot though.

Seriously don't understand why they didn't bother having two different images for the volumes. Even Mr. Robot had a change with Elliot wearing a mask/no mask. Just screams laziness. -

LOL they didn't even change the covers. Waste of time but I'll buy them I guess since I've been waiting. And they'll be the Lakeshore ones. -

Milan's statement on Shin Godzilla: -
If he was actually there, I would be there in a heartbeat having him sign my Tank Girl and Gorillaz stuff (doesn't even count the huge line that would be there to see him). No, that man doesn't really cross over the Atlantic for cons. He doesn't really need to as you can see. I think people are also underestimating that Jamie is a very well-regarded comic book artist besides being the artist for Gorillaz. A ton of artists from the pop culture art prints world follow him on Instagram. You might think people wouldn't spend alot of Jamie's artwork then maybe you haven't seen how much Jamie's original prints go for: http://shop.jamiehewlett.com/ http://woodwardgallery.net/jamie-hewlett/For $350 that has him sign something that has 50+pages of his own artwork and not just one and signed, some Gorillaz/comic book fans might think this is worth it.
