  1. Thanks for the advice on the Visitor, everyone. Ended up picking it up. Really liked the whole package altogether. Only shame is that it wasn't the starburst variant.

As for these newly announced releases, very excited to check out these releases, especially the lost 2001: A Space Odyssey soundtrack. That is something I definitely interested in. As for the Iron Giant soundtrack, I think I'll be fine with any edition of that. The movie's score to me has some nice highlights but it isn't the most memorable thing about that film although this scene with the score behind it makes me misty-eyed everytime.

  2. PO Details are finally out on Bleep; check them out:

The incredible return of Flying Lotus on Warp. You're Dead! sees producer Steven Ellison taking us on a transcendental voyage into the afterlife. A wholly immersive, psychedelic journey, it's a virtuoso performance from one of the decade's most talented and inventive artists. The album features contributions from (in order of appearance) Herbie Hancock, Kendrick Lamar, Captain Murphy, Snoop Dogg, Angel Deradoorian, Thundercat and Niki Randa. Original artwork by Japanese comic book artist Shintaro Kago.

I can't wait for this thing to come out. Kinda contemplating the boxset since it does have the instrumentals.

  3. Where did you purchase this and would you know if there are anymore or is this already sold out?

This was from the Deathwaltz site. It was limited to 400 and was sold out in the span of about 4-6 hours I believe. The reason why it didn't sell out immediately was because of the simple fact that licensing issues would not allow DW to sell it to the States. I have a friend who lives in the UK who did me a favor and got the record for me. I wouldn't have got it otherwise and it cost me $70+ to get it! At this point, cheapest deal you might find for it is $90+.

  4. I need that poster

I would get that one too but of course Mondo made that poster an SDCC exclusive. Unless they were fucking with us and are going to put some of these up online, it's going to a difficult task with the ebay flippers having a hold on them. Plus they never mentioned the amount of any of the SDCC exclusive posters.

EDIT: Be prepared to cry. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=mondo&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR11.TRC1.A0.H0.Xmondo+last+of+us&_nkw=mondo+last+of+us&_sacat=0

  5. Holy crap, a TLoU LP would have been amazing.

    I'm in mourning now. Goddamn.

If we're lucky, maybe we'll get a vinyl release for the movie assuming they keep Gustavo. I seriously cannot see anyone else doing the score for the film unless Neil feels that the movie needs to be totally different but I totally doubt that. Anyone wanna bug Justin or any Mondo peeps about why this fell through?
