I just happily snagged my copy of 2001 even though I was concerned it might be sold out before I got home. After seeing Interstellar yesterday, definitely nice to pick something that was the inspiration to that flick. Looks like there are still 260 left of them.

Never really cared much for GTA the game but yeah for 75 bones, that's definitely good. I'll be passing on it still though. I would definitely love Rockstar to repress Read Dead Redemption though:

Got it! Turned out to be $50 for me being shipped, but to get this record for this price nowadays, definitely worth it. Question though: is this the legit repress or just going to be a decent bootleg copy?

Seeing them next Tues in SD. I'll let ya peeps know if the vinyl are still there. So psyched for it.

Yeah, the remaining one is unfortunately not dispatched from Amazon UK, coming from an independent vendor not offering international postage. Looks like they only had a handful available again on Amazon.   

*Sighs* Foiled again. Definitely going to keep on eye on it though.

Still waiting for my copy of Hook and Pull to arrive since I ordered it way back in Sept. Has anyone else received their copies yet? I knew it was going to take sometime for the record to arrive but this is starting to roll into a month now and I'm concerned it's sitting in customs hell. I emailed DW but haven't gotten a reply. Will try them again at the end of this week.

Got the record on blue. Don't really care to have another white pressing or the limited dealo since this is just the repress as it is. Happy to even have this on record now at all for a reasonable price.

Just got a new USPS carrier and boy has it been a bit of a change compared to my last one. Used to be a nice lady who would occasionally just hand me the packages or leave them at the door. Now it's a young guy who blasts his music while delivering the mail. Tends to also now try and shove the record packages in the mailbox space, which has lead to some bended-up covers, but thankfully no damage to the records yet. Recently also had my RTJ2 record I ordered from Amazon in limbo because it was supposed to be signed, but the guy never showed up at my door or left a notice, so I decided to simply just wait for the guy the next day to deliver the mail. He didn't even bother with explaining why he never showed up and just handed me my package. Really looking forward to the future shenanigans with this carrier.

Also now have Hospice by the Antlers now signed as well as the Scott Pilgrim Video Game Soundtrack signed by Bryan Lee O'Malley.

Definitely psyched about ordering it. I still think they need to repress this sooner than later. I'm assuming they'll wait til the next Tron movie is made (if it ever is). Tron Legacy definitely had its issues as a film and I really do hope they work on a better script/plot instead of just fully focusing on the look which Joesph Kosinski is so notorious for (ex: Oblivion), plus who knows, maybe Daft Punk returns to do another score. Just need more Tron in my life, y'all.

Eh, it's gotta be a repress. It was inevitable. Disney appears to have quite a few vinyl releases lately and it would make sense to reissue a soundtrack that's in high-demand. 

 

I'm just happy I'll finally get to own the soundtrack on vinyl. The Game Has Changed.

I feel that is the case as well, but i also find that weird that they would just kinda push it through the backdoor without much fanfare at all. This is a heavily-sought record that was done by a notable group and it's just weird that Disney is just all eh about a repress. Really should have done the repress when RAM came out. Whether it's a repress or not, I had to have this after getting the TRON release.

I really hope Shaun comes in before Halloween. I take it no one's got a shipping notice yet?

Nope. Still says New Order on my account. Assuming from past experiences, they'll ship out whenever they can. At the moment, they are very busy trying to ship out the Mondo The Shining clothes as well as old Looper orders, the MondoCon posters, and finally our SOTD orders. Unless they are working 24/7, I say maybe they start shipping SOTD this Thursday/next week.

Same here! Guess it's just a waiting game at this point.

Here's some pics of it.Looks great! It's a nice gatefold with all new info about this release. The vinyl itself is mostly pink unless you throw it up in the sun and see that it has a giant black area in the middle.

I wouldn't say I care about it but, as someone who buys records and often gets shut out of limited preorders due to flipping, I have a mild interest in seeing if some of Mondo's actions (like $60 retail prices and long preorder windows) discourage flipping down the line.

I wouldn't want $60 retail prices lol. Long preorder windows yes.
