My DW Godzilla copy finally made it to my side of the States. So thrilled. 

Speaking of other Mondo stuff, apparently they were selling a Last of Us poster at SDCC that was supposedly going to be the cover for the soundtrack LP cover. Instead, for reasons not explained, they decided to stick with a poster. Assuming that it was Sony that said no to the LP release or Mondo had no time, I say it's a blown opportunity as I personally loved that soundtrack and it just sounds so superb live as it can be seen here. Here's to hoping that perhaps the two companies can return to the table and let this thing still happen.

Snuck into the Con and nabbed myself a Freeze 7''. I still wanted Man-Bat and it sounds like they are just gonna save it for online now.

Yeah the copy my friend got for me arrived at his place and its being sent out to the states now. Excitement.

The venue didn't. Most venues in general aren't going to impede with fans that are sticking around waiting for the artist. Most people know where the artists are going to come out from and you can always ask the nice security people as long as you aren't acting crazy. One thing is definitely scope out where people are coming in or out in from the backstage and heading to the load out areas. Honestly meeting an artist is a gig-by-gig basis. You will never really know if an artist comes out one way/another way/ignores fans or security are gonna be a bunch of jerks. Just take a chance and see what happens. I bid you good luck.

Definitely gonna try and get a friend of mine to get this one for me...or I might actually go to the Con physically and smoothly walk onto the convention floor like I have for the past 2 years. I seriously don't understand why SDCC doesn't want my money lol.

Is that UK only? Bummer.

I can't wait to get that Godzilla release in my hands. My friend ordered for me so once he receives it and i pay him, it's gonna be happy days.

Actually there were 16 of us waiting for him after the show near the car he was gonna use to head to LAX and head back to Nashville. I think we waited for like and hour and a half before he came out. He got to everyone and no one complained about that for one bit. Honestly Jack is one of the hardest people to catch but if you follow the Jack White forums, you'll be surprised that he approaches fans from time to time. Plus he was riding off the high from the release of his album so he was in a decent mood no doubt. I was more shocked he agreed to a photo than the signature to be honest cause most folks only nab the signature from him.

Oh boy, separate 7''s for each of the villains? This is gonna go down so well at Comic Con lol. Online orders anyone?

The bitter reality is that if you don't preorder and wait, you're mostly likely going to miss out. Just ask me with the recent debacle with the Death Consciousness record varients. *quietly sobs into pillow*

I often wonder about this too, but then I realized I had decided to meet the man after the recent Pomona, CA show. Hell after he was nice to sign the record, I milked my opportunity for all of its worth and managed to get a pic with him as well.

Ended up finding this at Amoeba for $60 and caved in.

Just confirmed by Mondo via twitter: no Looper vinyl at SDCC. Sounds like they are shooting for an August release.

Haha damn you're quick. I was the one who asked that. I'm definitely thrilled so we can all avoid Comic Con ebay scammers. Those guys are just as brutal as regular vinyl flippers. 

The first Infamous had an pretty exhilarating soundtrack that was co-composed with Amon Tobin. Also definitely remember Silent Melody from that game as well. 

 

Last of Us soundtrack would be great. Could see Mondo doing an amazing one if they ever did video game ones.

Welp I fucked that up. Guess I'm getting the 180gram now.

I would like that Gov. Plates pressing myself...

Has anyone gotten ahold of their Godzilla copies early or are we just going to have to wait til after the 10th really to see any photos?
