I received an email back from Mondo and the person said that Guardians should stay up until Friday of this week and they said to not order anything else with it or the order will be cancelled due to it being a preorder. 

 

I'm sure folks were hoping to combine shipping but I'm guess Mondo thought ahead lol.

Price is definitely making me frown a bit but if it has all that stuff I guess it's worth it, but then with that regular Mondo shipping...As for me, I have my other edition which I'm definitely happy with and I want SoTD so pass on this one for me.

Shops in SD hopefully will have this. Definitely something to get.

Some people thought it wasn't worth free....

 

The beauty of opinions. Called my local SD record shops and nada. Strange that 300 copies wouldn't be distributed everywhere. 

 

EDIT: Spoke to another record store which said there wasn't 300 but actually 100 so that means there were only 50 copies for the east coast and then west coast.

I'm so happy this exists. Happily purchasing this when I have my next paycheck.

Holy shit that Batman test is KILLER. I wonder how many of those are out there...

 

I would toss a number and say at least 10 of them, considering Mondo releases now add up to 24 releases (not adding unreleased stuff). 

 

 

Justin retweeting someone asking about the record still happening, so the assumption is that it has been shelved for a future release.

I love how all of the people selling the test presses on eBay are treating the records like a Print versus the Vinyl Test press that they are.

For instance, a bunch are listed and most of them have no info (matrix grooves) for anyone to know what they are bidding on. Basically people are buying a $100+ record jacket print. 

 

Yeah I really hate when it's flippers that have no idea what the items really are but what are you gonna do? I would hate it if one of those managed to be the Last of Us test press as well. Also I would never outright buy a test press for that amount of money. Ridiculous.

Paid $75 for this at the con.  Lame, but whatever.

 

Yeah this is one of those records that I think I'll pass on. There's something between it being really neat to have if it was $40 to something I kinda have to go yeah I see no reason to pick this up with that kind of price. 

Happy I got my copy. 

Kinda having buyer's remorse from getting Man-Bat now since I know I'll never be able to complete the Batman collection. I'll be content with Mr. Freeze I suppose. Throwing it out here to you guys first. Perhaps if any of you are interested in trading any of the stuff people are getting at MondoCon for Man-Bat w/interest possibly.

Yeah same here. I had to get the package when i got home tonight and it was out all day in the mailbox. Hoping for the best.

All I know is that I placed two separate orders today and received two separate email confirmations from both Waxwork and Paypal. I really do hope the best for you all, though.

 

Appreciate the moral support. Would be a bummer just for the fact that we were able to get through and supposely go thru paypal without it saying it was sold out. At least just close it off or make it a separate page that actually says sold out. Least Mondo does that when it has varients that you can buy.

Just realized I didn't get a Waxworks email confirmation for my spatter and it was just the Paypal once. Sending an email to them with the small shred of hope that my order isn't gonna be cancelled even though I did order it before Waxworks officially confirmed it was sold out.

So let me ask this now, how soon will all of our records ship then?

Waxwork Twitter confirm Blood-filled and Blood Spatter gone. Well there was bound to be errors beyond the blood-filled.

For me, the site would crash but a simple refresh did the trick and I got what I wanted.

Got my blood splatter. Yeah fuck spending 65 bucks for a blood vinyl that may possibly leak.

Definitely gonna pick this up although I'm just gonna go for the nice spatter edition. I really don't care for a probable $70+ blood-filled edition haha.
