  1. Got word that my double rainbow deluxe finally has arrived. 14€'s for customs. Just got unboxed/inspected via skype. Package is ripped, A/B shattered on one spot. yay. but at least I didn't get two A/B's, roflcopter.
  2. So my box arrived in immaculate condition a couple hours ago. Surprised by how solid and quite heavy the vinyl itself is. Couldn't get it to wobble at all. (I'm probably the only person who does that to check if 180gr really feels like 180gr?) Had some static pops and crackles on the outer edge but I've only used a carbon brush so far. Anyhow, I'm totally happy about the sound quality. I have to admit that Holy Fire is far from being my favorite from them too, but I can't really say that it's bad in any way either. Providence anyone? It feels like Holy Fire was the first step towards what they've accomplished with What Went Down. Raw, somewhat aggressive but still true to their roots. They've really come a long way since Antidotes. Man, the whole thing is just beautiful. I checked multiple times on hasitleaked and even though it seems that the community is basically a mob of lurkers I'd say that for big releases like this one the chances are higher that people actually check on these so called "leaks" around the web. I did find quite a few links pre-dating the official leak, but most of them lead to survey download websites. So they were basically crap.
  3. But it did. Well, technically. Official release is on the 28th; the "leak" was comfirmed this morning. So yeah, you're right, it's amazing that they kept it under tight wraps for the duration. On a side note: I'm not a tape guy, but I would've loved to find one of those scattered tapes. Awesome medium for a treasure hunt. But I can't really complain, just gotta pray to the shipping God that my box won't get stuck at customs.
  4. I might actually have to get that. Perfect soundtrack for a nearly perfect mobile game. Just don't play it while taking a crap, you'll never be done.
  5. Oh haha, guess you're right, it says "Ships from Shropshire, England" for me.
  6. Thanks a bunch for all that info birdwell! Unfortunately that doesn't really make it any easier for most Europeans I guess. Either buying an expensive imported copy or waiting for a possible European batch isn't really that awesome. However, there are signs that a European batch isn't that impossible. I wasn't really lucky in finding out more about Krunk, the label which is doing the repress, they don't seem to have any online presence but while searching for clues I stumbled over the listing for the upcoming OST LP "Circe", which is a side project of two Sigur Ros members and will apparently also be released on that label. This will be shipped from England. So one may conclude that a European batch- WHOA BREAKING NEWS WHILE WRITING, THE PO IS UP ON THE SIGUR ROS ONLINE STORE Unfortunately it's still expensive as f*ck. edit: Alright. According to the info on the website Circe is being shipped from the UK, Takk.. however from the US but it looks like both are being released on Krunk. I don't know what to make of this. Shipping to Germany is 23€. Nope. Not cool at all.
  7. Shipping to Germany is another £10.50, still way cheaper than amazon though. Shouldn't be too long now before German listings pop up.. I hope.
  8. Well, as always, there's youtube for that. Takk on the other hand I'd also say is pronounced "tack" but the a is short like in the word 'up' Btw the music direct listing for Takk says colored vinyl, I guess that's misinformation, or should I get my hopes up? (even though I think black just fits it perfectly already)
  9. Quite impressed that they're like three years in the business with their album just about 1 year old and they're already touring with the Foo's. Let's hope this won't get to their heads too much. I'm already really eager to see hear what they're going to be like on LP No.2.
  10. Uh, oh yeah, forgot the favorite track. I'd say it's Little Monster, though it's really the chorus that get's me every time. Sufficient enough?
  11. awesome debut album and imo one of the better cover artworks in recent memory.
  12. Holy crap that's one of the most beautiful splatter variants I've ever seen.
  13. Still waiting. Still says shipping in July on their page. I need my summer 80s vibe.
  14. You guys are right, 2 pressings were made in the UK, the other apparently on Iceland; guess I shouldn't worry too much. I totally blame bullmoose for my missing-out-panic. Too often info on new pressings appears there first, everyone here always says they're really reliable. Not being able to visit their site makes me think they're all sorcerers.
  15. WHAT. First TLOU rips a hole in my pocket, then Juturna happens and now, finally I read about this. Is this real life?! JUST. WHAT. BRB, gotta sell lots of stuff. And while I'm at it: I can't even access Bullmoose, in fact I never could so far. Tried several browsers. Some stupid IP blocking issue I guess? Anybody who knows where I can PO this from Europe? I'll go apeshit crazy if I miss this.
  16. Awesome live version of "A Knife In The Ocean". Can't wait for the album to drop. So glad I went for the boxset.
  17. Much yes! And let's not forget about the gorgeous score to Ico, which btw scored first place in the 'top 100 game soundtracks ever' list over at factmag. (which mondo mentions in their TLOU listing; only that it didn't score second but actually third place.)
