I need this, badly.

Upon looking at the Instagram photos Dog Knights Posted, at least part of this will contain songs from the Collections 1 comp.

At the very least I can positively identify track 9 (Sepulcher) and at least one of the songs that was on the Middle-Man Records compilation "Sordid States v2". Unsure as to whether this will be only Collections 1 or will be something more; will remain to be seen. Will buy it regardless.

A bit more than an EP, huh? Double LP!  Can't wait!

And just like the Doppelganger press, no UK options and extortionate shipping prices... ah well! Good for those in NA at least.

EDIT: Unfortunately price came out to $80 with shipping. Bit too much for me even for an album like this.

If even half of those sets end up undamaged I'd be surprised. Looks like absolute prime real estate for them to warp and scratch to hell and back, especially being carted from show to show on a tour. If any kind of dust or particle settles in there... yikes! Kind of incredible how ugly the set is. That begs the question: how the hell are they going to protect themselves from PayPal claims made by people who pick up the records at a show and then decide they want their money back? What evidence would they have?

At least the packaging won't get all torn up like the Colouring Book reissue though, am I right? 🤪

Mandatory buy and one of the most undernoticed albums of its time. Really, anyone on this forum who's got a sliver of interest into the overlap of hardcore/post-hardcore and emo needs to listen to this. It's amazing.

A quick opinion on Will Yip: He excels at this type of production, but he brought this style to some hardcore releases last year (Defeater and La Dispute are two that stick out to me). I really disliked the way the vocals were mixed. Two bands that rely heavily on their lyrical narratives, and you could hardly hear 'em.

With you there on that La Dispute album—I can barely hear the lyrics, really confusing why that was given the go-ahead. Ruins the album completely for me. Couldn't get through it. The same choices made on albums like this (those floaty, ethereal vocals that occasionally get lost in the noise really do a lot for me with Nothing) will let down stuff like La Dispute.

This album absolutely rules and I'm really happy to be able to say that. Listening to the Evil Greed /100 vinyl and sounds great. (Looks great too.) God is it refreshing to finally have a new album like this again in my life.

This album rules, I double down on my earlier "would buy a 4xLP boxset of these", god damn. They've already got the center labels ready too, E/F/G/H for VOBBB, haha

Tip: these new butterfly or "moonphase" records all kinda look like garbage. It's like you took two little bites out of an actual splatter record and plopped them on a plain one. Really weird choice.

Regarding the album, I hope it's more interesting than the previous one was, it wasn't bad but none of the progressions stuck out much like they did on GoE and ToT. The chord voicings on those two albums paired with consistent wall-of-sound moments really makes those two timeless for me. Hoping this new one can get close to that.

Hell of a lot nicer than the mockup! I echo the "4xLP boxset" sentiment—I don't own the first of these two on vinyl and would love to buy 'em together as a big package set.

I've not spent much time with this band, but I'm really enjoying this new record. Might need to go back and explore their back catalog now. Good stuff.

Holding out for the EU/UK variant. Single is solid, I still yearn for something to hit me as hard as Tired Of Tomorrow did when it came out and I'm hoping this will fill that void in my soul. It's got a darker feel to it which I like a lot.

Friendly reminder to all that black w/ splatter mockups often times look ok but they rarely look pleasing IRL.  Scroll down a few pages to the O’Brother thread for a recent post of how bad a black w/ gold splatter variant turned out.

I think I have seen like, one or two black with splatter variants that actually look good, and I think special manufacturing had to be used (or some specific plant) for it to look that way. Every single other one I've seen is super underwhelming. All y'all be warned, most likely it won't look great.

With that being said, new TA is something I enjoy experiencing. Will decide between the Deathwish and EU splatter variant once they go up. Always stellar music.

This is really good. Scratches that Plebeian Grandstand itch I've had for a while since False Highs, True Lows is 4 years old now.

Delicate Orange-ish variant looking tasty. Not upset this was the only one in the UK store, cause I think I like it more than the red.

I saw these guys live right after they put out Dust and Disquiet and it was one of the best live shows I've ever been to. I wonder if they'll stick to BSM for EU distribution? Hope so.

The Leviathan 4LP probably will appear at various distros if people miss it on PFL's store. No clue where but I've seen it around, at least in Europe.

It's a mindblowingly stunning package and well worth the price. Such a good deal for the money.
