Ok so this is bugging the hell out of me now and I can't figure out how to fix it. I have a pretty busy job and often I don't get time to dip in and out of the threads, so email notifications when people post in threads I follow are really helpful for me. However, for some reason over the last week I haven't received any. Although there have been random occasions where I've received say one or two, and then nothing again. Any idea what's causing this? Before anyone says, the emails aren't going to my junk/spam box.

I caved. Fuck the other games. Back on SOTFS as of last night - picked up where I left off. Just killed the 2 Dragonriders in Drangleic Castle. Out of interest, would you guys suggest attempting the new areas from the DLC as soon as they're accessible, or wait? Also, I'm surprised there's as much hate (probably the wrong word) for DS2 as there is, at least in comparison to DS1. It's an easier game, but I think it's a masterpiece all the same.

Just to clarify for those who maybe haven't ordered overseas with Amazon before; you should see in your total that it calculates the import tax/charges for you. If it says £0.00/$0.00 then obviously no import taxes apply as its below the threshold. Otherwise you pay the cost included in the total and that will/should avoid any additional charges on arrival in your country. Here in the UK there are fees if the import tax isn't pre paid, I assume the same sort of thing applies in the US.

This isn't completely unheard of. I order from Amazon US a lot to the UK. Their international shipping is pretty cheap, and often exchange rates really help. I'm just gonna add into the discussion here that throughout the whole thing I've found Sean to be nothing but professional towards me. In fact I've had a better "service" than I have from actual legitimate companies. Take that however you will, but I do feel like beyond all the bootleg "debates" he is a decent guy just trying to make a product that, for the most part, wouldn't see the light of day. Also I know that a lot of the discussion seems to be centred around royalties and payment to the composers, but everyone seems to be missing that he has repeatedly pointed out that when this hasn't been possible, any profit has pretty much gone to charity. I can't speak for everyone, but I can bet he's probably donated more to charity than a lot of others here have, and that surely has to have some merit.

Amazon UK have the normal retail version (although it says "Limited Edition") up for £16.29. If you have prime, then it works out a little cheaper than direct from the label. £2 delivery without prime. Obviously with Amazon you pay on dispatch.

Well the original got stuck somewhere at a depot in NY, and seems to have disappeared into a black hole. Long story short, he held a couple of Test Pressings back for his own collection, but they were all Homerchu designs. My understanding is that he only did a small amount, maybe 5 as a guess. So basically he sent me one from his own collection, and to be fair he could have just refunded me but instead he's paid for another lot of international shipping.I did also get a standard copy as well, so for $20 (or whatever it was) for the two I can't complain. I do sorta like the Homerchu design, as odd as it is...

I can't freaking wait for DS3. I fucking love this series, I just become so completely immersed in it for weeks. I can't even put my finger on what it is, they're all so damn addictive. Anyway I'm hyped! Desperately trying to work through my backlog of games so I can finish off playing through SOTFS and the Bloodborne DLC before launch.

I'm probably gonna be alone in this opinion (and I'm not saying it's bad because they're clearly talented), but it just reminds me of Evanescence or something, and I don't know why. I can't even get all the way through! Maybe it's the Heartagram tattoo... This does remind me though that 2 friends of mine covered Bloody Cape ages ago, and it's amazing. I may have to upload it somewhere as you guys need to hear it.

I've personally decided to hold off on ordering the black. As much as I'm not a fan of the white (only for this release, I also own a handful of white records that all sound fine to me) I'm voting with my wallet and refusing to pay £30 for an album. We all moan about pricing and then give in anyway, and I just feel that if more people took the decision to not be ripped off then we would have better prices. I'll wait and see what Amazon UK gets, and probably just order from them regardless of colour. Unfortunately they have nothing up yet though.
