  2. Just watched both bits. I really hate the little intro he does for "Runaway". I don't mind that he does it, but people are like, "OMG HE JUST MIXED A SONG, LIVE ON STAGE!" and he doesn't. It's just fun with a couple of samples. Also, was he lip syncing on "Runaway"? I mean, all and all it's a cool looking performance and I'll take this before someone like 50 Cent who doesn't even know the words to his own songs, but I just don't seem as blown away as I guess I should.
  3. Haha. I remember when I was first trying to get this. An auction went for like $49 and I wasn't willing to go over $45. Now I think it goes for $100. I'm not bummed as it's not worth that too me, I just never thought it'd get that expensive.
  4. I am constantly amazed what this band's stuff sells for. I've sold three of my Kingston 7" and I don't think one went for less than $30. Also, isn't white/green "Mint toothpaste"?
  5. Yeah, finally caved and placed an order for BTMI!, The Swellers and this. Of course, knowing P+P it could be several years before I get these.
  6. Maybe I'm out of it because I haven't worked at a station in over 5 years and it was regular radio (though we did stream), but at the time we had the right to play anything because we paid royalties to the major copyright companies, so we could play any of their material. It had nothing to do with ownership of the material. Additionally, because we were non-profit and education we were given an incredibly prorated royalty cost. I believe we paid less than a penny per song for internet streaming. As for reaching out to labels, it's a great idea and if any are unsure about your status or how wide your reach is offer to take digital copies of music and just burn it for the station. It's a little more leg work but it might sway a few labels.

  8. I really love the band but "HFOBG" has always been my least favorite album by these guys (probably my least favorite output as a whole). The album is so narrative it lacks any sort of bigger picture or broader appeal. It's not a bad album but I'd take either of their last two any day of the week.
  9. Two sets. Friday is normal. Sat is acoustic.
  10. I wonder how much I'd have to pay for it to make the last 10 years of Tim Burton's output watchable.
  11. Hope they have this in the San Francisco show.
  12. Please message me offers that are just slightly less than this guy's offers.
  13. I'll sell my copy for $1 less then this dude!
  14. I'd probably be more shaken up if it was someone who was funny. Also, if Virgil did reach out to the guy and he didn't change it, Virgil has a right to ban him. Regardless of if it's something you agree with this is a forum that is set up and administered by a person for their company. Go on over to 4chan if you want to complain about censorship. That place loves freedom.
  15. Well the Rumbletowne site says, "We're touring it through Europe, the UK and Iceland before we come home and release it in the states." So hopefully something will come out stateside.
  16. Haha, I don't ever see them being one of those bands you're going to be able to flip. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think any of their stuff goes for much.
  17. Woah, I didn't know you were doing the vinyl for Weight of Air. That's awesome. Hold on to some copies for me at Fest. Or I'll find you
  18. I think the only real answer to people's questions is, "Triple decker vinyl." Read between the lines...
  19. True story, we had to explain that to a ton of people who asked. Apparently, (the company story goes) it was already on when they handed it to him. He didn't know and he turned it off, right before he stepped on. Best president ever.
  20. Gotta say, I've probably clocked more than 20 hours on one of these things and I have no idea how you'd ride it over a cliff.
  21. I believe the word was they would never be repressed in the same packaging again. I wouldn't be surprised if it was done much more toned down.
  22. Got one copy and the Jeff Rowe screened cover. Excited to own one cool copy of each record.
  23. I can only assume the town stopped caring when the Atheist started to let gay people into the town and their Halloween and New Year's Eve got 1,000 times more awesome.
