They have announced that 2022 RSD will be back to April (provided COVID agrees!). So mark your diaries for April 23rd

Depends on the the projected future value of my collection. Now if someone could design an app for that.

Also, important to remember that the RH reddit is basically 18 year olds who got into them last week and way too excitable fans that post 8 CDs and 2 LPs to show off their "collection".
To be fair I thought the majority of posters on Reddit were 18 year olds. Although I must admit quite a bit of stuff that gets posted in vinyl deals also seems to end up here. 😀

To hell with sealed vinyl, I'm still holding out with my 1990's portfolio of DF Limited Edition comic books. I've got the Blair Witch glow in the dark cover.🤑

At first glance I thought the title was Music To Make Love To your Old Ladyboy.

Anyone seen any hints on when pre-orders for LAGWAFIS will be going live?
No, sorry.

So many people on this thread with just a couple of posts. No harm in joining in even if it's only to spam endless links every few days.

The impact of the pandemic is certainly another factor, with delays of around six months for some major new releases, a lot of people probably impulse buy although the flipside of this is you do have longer to change your mind. A few years ago the average retail cost of an album in the UK was around £23 but now it seems around £30 is more the norm, plus heavily increased shipping costs for international stuff. Then there's the day I decided to become a King Gizzard completist, but seriously the number of multiple variants of releases is in some cases becoming ridiculous.
Not long ago there were a series of gambling awareness ads run on UK TV, the slogan for which was, when the fun stops, stop.

Yep! Its waiting in the store for me to go in and collect. I stupidly didn't get it 1st of all after queuing there all night but luckily came to my senses and snagged one online.
How does it sound?

I imagine my collection is fairly modest by the standards of many here, currently numbering 595 items, but after collecting for many years I've more or less decided I'm happy with it as it stands. I've drawn a line in the sand and will not go above 600 which leaves a tiny window in case 1 or 2 really must haves crop up. I also couldn't bring myself to part with anything, despite looking at the prices asked for some items on discogs and thinking..."shit"!

The realisation that it has stopped becoming a hobby and become an addiction. When you are refreshing the vinyl release sub reddit every ten seconds, or camping out all night to be first in the queue at RSD.

Hmmm... $40 LP+$67 shipping =$107 shipped 👌
I'm not actually interested in this, I just like to post links every few hours in order to maintain my profile here.

Different versions of the same release is one thing, but I make that 3 different bands now with the name Salem.

Looking at the FAQ's, there are a lot there relating to availability and resale. I think this could be a deliberate UK policy to try and counteract the activities of flippers.

Received my yellow/black copy this morning and really enjoying it. It's the first Chelsea Wolfe I've gotten into since Pain Is Beauty, which possibly also her most accessible album, imo.

Try here, looks as if unlike the UK site they ship internationally. Not sure about costs however. Just select buy without registration.
