Can you post pics of the Austin records. I got mine too, but they both look dark grey to me. I have every color of this release now, except for the Dark Green, which I should have in a couple of days. When I get that one, I will take pictures and post them.

I ordered the Exene LP directly from Bloodshot last week. You've got it for a couple of bucks cheaper than I paid. Oh well.....

It's not been confirmed what songs either band are doing just yet, but perhaps they'll also cover each other's tracks on the tour they'll play together this fall.

Rum Runners is the name new of the bar that used to be FAT TUESDAY. It's downtown (of course) about 3-4 blocks east of Common Grounds. Across from Dragonfly Sushi and the new Hampton Inn Hotel. Weird...I've never seen that place have music ever.

I saw Cory on that tour with Jon Snodgrass & Joey Cape, but I've been a fan for a long time. I first saw him like 6-7 years ago - right around when TO HELL YOU SAY came out. Good guy and musician!

I was in Atlanta over the weekend and stopped in at Criminal Records. They had this LP for $12.99. I had already pre-ordered a copy from Interpunk. A buddy of mine wanted a copy, so I picked up a copy for him. It was blue vinyl. Translucent blue, not solid like Against Me's ORIGINAL COWBOY.

This should probably go under SOLID MAIL DAY, but I'm feeling like a kid at Christmas right now! -------- I just got a parcel containing these two records. So awesome! I've known Todd Beene for a while. He plays pedal steel in the awesome band GLOSSARY and has played as a touring member of Lucero recently, too. After playing on GOLD COUNTRY, he played with Chuck Ragan for the last month across Europe. I sent him an email asking if he could hook me up with these releases and he came through. I cannot wait to get home and spin the live record!
