  1. Word is that some bands that are supposed to play HOH have already canceled because they are no longer getting flown into to FL for Langerado.
  2. more info: LANGERADO 2009 CANCELLED Today, the 2009 Langerado Music Festival is cancelled due to sluggish ticket sales. The 7th annual event was slated to happen March 6-8 at their new home in downtown Miami's Bicentennial Park. Langerado's independent local promoters, faced with a very tough decision in a dismal economy, cancelled the 2009 event only after every possible option was exhausted. As Langerado Co-Promoter Ethan Schwartz explains, "Langerado has always put the fan experience first. Unfortunately, during these difficult economic times, and facing a first year in a new venue, it's become apparent that we cannot execute a production that lives up to the high standards of our past events. Putting Langerado on hold was the toughest decision we have ever had to make. We are very grateful for the support of the greater-Miami community and the music community during this difficult time." All tickets purchased will be refunded. Please look for ticket refunds to be processed in the next 5-7 business days. Each order will be refunded to the credit card in full, minus the included order processing fees. Shipping fees will also be credited for those orders that did not select the free shipping promotion. Visit www.musictoday.com for more information. ### PR contact: Madison House Publicity Megan McFann / Carrie Lombardi [email protected] / [email protected]
  3. So, apparently the Langerado festival in south FL has been cancelled. http://www.langerado.com/land.php Many of the same bands are scheduled to play Harvest Of Hope. I'm curious to see if bands that were scheduled to play Langerado will not even come down to Fl at all. Maybe those that are not playing HOH will play there now. I'm sure this will cause headaches all around for those bands involved..
  4. Agreed. I've been wanting to pick this up for so long, but I always talk myself out of it due to the price.

  7. Dang....I thought plans to release III on vinyl was a done deal. I suppose it makes sense, due to the fact that The Wall Against Our Back is out of print. I like that album, but I would prefer III on vinyl first. The thing about The Wall Against Our Back is the cover art - it kinda sucks. I would like to see new art for that.
  8. Just wanted to let you know that you are making some people happy with your customer service. This was posted to a music listserv I've been on for a decade...1500+ subscribers: ---------------- yay Suburban Home! Just got an unexpected package from them containing my Two Cow beer coozie and button, along with a suburban home sampler record. In all honesty, I was not overally bothered by the fact they didn't initially ship (shit happens) and never expected to see them. That's GOOD customer service. ------------------ Another member chimed in: Yeah, I got the same thing this past Saturday and promptly pounded a few High Lifes with my new coozie. Great customer service, no complaints!
