  1. There are only 3 Era songs and one of Make it Wit Chu which is one of their best songs!
  2. I think Dikembe might have copies on tour. Not really sure though. My ding dong bandmate has them and good luck trying to get any useful info outta him.
  3. I keep coming back to Like Clockwork. Definitely my favorite thing released this year so far.
  4. I'm gonna be in town for two days 6/15-6/16. Tell me what is crucial that I need to experience. Pretty much the only thing I have on my list right now is Hot Dougs. I was in Chicago last year and did the art museum and the zoo and some other stuff. Come hang out at Warren Franklin's EP release show. https://www.facebook.com/events/458816814196623/?fref=ts
  5. Hmm. Haven't seen that one in particular but I've done a lot of reading on BMEzine and other blogs about dudes that have ruined the dingles and dongles by injecting them with mineral oil.
  6. I know hardly anything about Macs but I doubt your average laptop would have more than two ram slots. And I dunno about Macs but with some pc motherboards it treats the larger sized stick the same as the smallest one so if you have two 2 gigs and a 4 gig it might only utilize 6 gigs total. Like I said though, if be surprised if there is an open slot.
  7. Yep. Indie Game the Movie was great. I'm a big fan of Edmund and the stuff he's done. I finished Fez and it ranks with my favorite games of all time. It's just a truly enjoyable experience start to finish.
  8. The songs from SNL are intense and aside from sounding great they strike me as being exceptionally passionate in today's lifeless mainstream music climate.
  9. Like others have said, if you can get rid of 1200 cds and make any money really you should go for it. I took about 200 cds from high school to the shop a few years ago and they only wanted like, 10 of them and gave me two bucks a piece. It wasn't even obscure stuff. Lots of Drive Thru, Equal Vision, Vagrant, etc. stuff from that time.
  10. I'd assume so. I don't anticipate the show getting to capacity though. The 'DC' show is confirmed at The Lab in Alexandria.
  11. Yes, to someone like you and I who would not murder anyone for any sum of money, 20k seems ridiculous. Drug dealers and gang members shoot each other up over much smaller amounts of money or even for no reason at all really. I also wouldn't be surprised to find out if contract killings happen more often than we think and we just don't know because it goes unnoticed. I know this is The Sun but it's actually a true story. I found a less detailed NYT article about it to verify. Two people were plotting to kill and castrate Bieber for the paltry sum of $2500 each. Some people are just fucked.
  12. The last article posted states that he was willing to pay $20,000 for the hit.
  13. For real. I was describing it to a friend earlier. I feel like more could have been done to vary the gameplay but the basic mechanic is pretty flawless in it's implementation and the game just feels really smooth, natural, and intuitive. The music and art style is also pretty perfect.
  14. I liked the new album a lot. The only song I wasn't a fan of was Like Clockwork. I feel like this might be the most solid overall album. I find myself always skipping around on their other albums aside from the S/T.
  15. Listening to this now. My friend preordered the record for me for my bday. So far I'm glad he did.
  16. Never seen Black Check but I think I'm gonna have to now.
  17. Pretty sure we're actually playing in Alexandria. From what I hear it's going to be a big 4th of July cookout party. Really excited about that one. I'd love to stop by for some pizza and beers. Sounds awesome! I'm not sure what our plans are but I appreciate the offer. I'll hit you up on PM in a bit.
  18. I was planning on hitting up Melt. Any Boston/Lowell people know how easy it is to get from Lowell to Boston on public transit? I want to hang out in Boston for a bit but don't feel like finding somewhere to park the van and pay 30 bucks to do so.
  19. I really have trouble discerning if Moonbeams is a sentient being or some sort of highly specific, highly advanced AI that ponders the logistical conundrums of being a consumer of vinyl records.
  20. Good pizza is good. I'm honestly not even really a big fan of Chicago style pizza (sorry) so real pizza is a plus for me. The asterisk means it's a date Signals Midwest is playing. I copied the list from elsewhere and forgot to mention it. I'm veggie but I've had fat sandwiches in NB before and will surely be going back for more since as far as I know there isn't much else to do there. Prove me wrong.
  21. Might have to take you up on that. Thanks, dude.
