  1. I'm drinking a Lagunitas Pils right now. It's good but I feel like all Lagunitas beers taste similar with varying hop intensity.
  2. I felt like the Wyatt Family actually killed it in the ring this week on Raw for the first time. Hopefully they can keep up some good momentum.
  3. And I'm getting a Rollins v. Goldust singles match tonight!
  4. I don't think I've seen Yards but we definitely have Victory, though I'm not sure I've seen the lager. Mostly we only get Golden Monkey and Hop Devil, which are both great. A friend told me Prima Pils is great but I never see it. Two Hearted is my go to IPA. I'm in Florida. I really don't dislike any styles and am down for anything. My favorite style is sour/wild ales.
  5. Anyone have any suggestions for good mid-range beers, like <$10 for a six pack. I've been kinda bummed on beer lately. The prices keep going up while the quality goes to shit. Pretty much every time I go to the beer store I end up just picking up Yuengling or Sam Adams Octoberfest because I'm tired of getting hosed by second rate craft beers. I'm also pretty fatigued by breweries feeling the need to make all of their beers the most extreme version of a style. I just want to enjoy a nice beer or two before bed, y'know?
  6. I'm listening to this for the second time today. It's really good. Drone/Fall/Run Like Hell is a pretty perfect cross section from the album.
  7. Reggie had a lot of heavy songs prior to that LP. James drummed for Coalesce and played keys in The Get Up Kids so it all kind of makes sense.
  8. The first 3 albums have a smattering of good songs but can be chores to listen to all the way through. Under the Tray in particular has a few great jams. I'd start with that. Songs Not to Get Married To is more of a 'serious' album. It's a lot heavier and has fewer and less oblique jokes. It's pretty good but I don't think the best songs on there hold up to the best from Under the Tray. I could never get into Last Stop Crappy Town. Reggie has one of the funnest live shows I've ever been to though. The joke songs are awesome live.
  9. I made it through college with only having to write a few 10-15 page papers. I always found that I'd spend about 90% of my time writing frustrated and producing nothing and then I'd hit my stride and be able to knock the whole thing out in no time.
  10. Pretty into the title change. I love Rollins but The Shield was getting pretty boring. I've never liked Reigns. I would love to see Rollins in some singles matches. Pretty much all of the great moments from Shield matches in the past 6 months have been Rollins against Bryan.
  11. Anyone ever listen to Purple Mercy? The self titled LP is pretty much perfect. Not typical stoner/doom stuff but there are elements, especially in songs like Black Winds of the Underworld. Unfortunately for my liking they went really psych on their next record.
  12. Just chiming in with a band I haven't seen mentioned yet. Ignore the awful song titles. Killed with a monster cock is probably my favorite song on here. http://lovesexmachine.bandcamp.com/
  13. Ha. As fun as it's been, I really don't want 300 7"s sitting around my house until I die.
  14. "An essay on how truly passionate I am about my musical project but fuck if I'll invest my own money into it" by Colin, a former major label artist who has made a living off of music for the past decade
  15. I just uploaded this to mediafire since we are probably going to run out of free downloads tonight or tomorrow. http://www.mediafire.com/download/la61hpo103jki69/Government+Breakdown+-+F%2Ack+Your+Health.zip
  16. Man, this community is snobby and obnoxious sometimes.
  17. Heyman in general has just been killing it. I laugh during all of his segments. I also have to admit I love the new Ryback.
  18. For real though, I am very excited for people to hear this album. I'm half prepared for most people to hate it but I think there will be a strong reaction regardless which is cool. It's very different from any of our other stuff.
  19. Has anyone done this yet? The new Dustin Kensrue. 1. Rejoice in My Ass 2. Rock of Ages in My Ass 3. Suffering Servant in My Ass 4. My One Comfort in My Ass 5. God is Good in My Ass 6. Grace Alone in My Ass 7. The Voice of The Lord in My Ass 8. Its Not Enough in My Ass 9. Come Lord Jesus in My Ass 10. Oh God in My Ass 11. It Is Finished in My Ass
  20. I've heard it. Album is good. Probably their best work yet.
  21. Sort of off topic but I just want to say Sam McPheeters' book Loom of Ruin was very funny and well written!
  22. Yeah. It wasn't too bad but it just took the game down a notch from pretty good to just good. At first I was pretty into trying to get the challenges done and exploring the levels fully but I just rushed the last few levels to get it over with. Having a few sections where you spend minutes walking in one direction for new real reason certainly didn't help speed things along.
