I'm disappointed in the lack of action in this thread. Is my time trading on VC over?

I've gone through my list and figured out pretty much everything I don't really listen to all that much anymore. There is a lot of stuff here that I still like, but I'd like to get some stuff I like more. Buying would be OK, just make an offer. As for trading, let's make it worth both of our while. It's pretty sad how horribly this is being run. Yes people are busy, but not being able to send an email update at least monthly is bullshit. I mean, not only did everyone pay $60 to be a part of this, Vinyl Collective makes money off of this every time a record is pressed. I think this (along with all of those other ridiculous money making schemes) are just a general indicator of how the entire VC operation is doing these days. Certainly glad I didn't buy the 'VC for life' plan.

I get and send records all the time without an extra cardboard pad. I don't know under what circumstances that extra piece of cardboard would actually help anything. Also, in Canada if your package weighs over 500g the price for shipping goes from $7.50 to $12.50 and last time I packaged a record with an extra piece of cardboard it went over the threshold (so I ended up taking it out). If there was no price difference then I guess I'd throw it in there, but it is definitely not worth it. Claiming that you need one to package a record properly is ridiculous.

I've paid $7.50 (each) for the last two I shipped out. The one before that was a 2xLP, went over the 500g barrier and it cost me $12. I have no idea how you can ship and LP for $5-$6. Forget all that. Shipping an LP from the states to Canada IS about $5-$6. Sorry, I thought you meant the other way around.
