  1. does anyone know if Hot topic and what time is the color? Jokes aside, Godspeed! Do not go gentle into that release day night.
  2. the last piece of the jigsaw Kill For Love came in today from IDIB with a few posters & cd. That makes it my 3rd tree worth of posters from these guys. This pressing is DOMINATING. It sounds so good
  3. I'll definitely be watching. I hope Wenger plays Ozil behind Giroud and not on the flank, he has Walcott and the Ox for that
  4. Don't think he ever really got over not being named the next England manager. He was already recruiting Brenden Rodgers as his second even before the announcement. Not saying he was great before then, but atleast decent. QPR has been a disaster with him. Recruiting an island of misfit toys and former stars probably wasn't the best approach.
  5. Classic UO. To think I was just about to go. You live around southern ca? Which UO do you recommend that has a bigger LP sale section?
  6. I'll probably head to the one in Pasadena tomorrow to find some of these deals.
  7. Agreed. Probably would've shelled out the cash if the original cover made the LP, but the shipping just kills my enthusiasm.
  8. Pretty self explanatory. Antonio Sanchez' original score for Birman. Milan Records at a pricey 29.98+ shipping. No word on how limited
  9. Europe/Middle East Rachid Taha- Algerian rock/punk/folk. Dude is sick. Even drunk he gives a good performance. Latest album @ Amazon OK KID- German electronic hip hop. Grundolos avail. @ Amazon Thievery Corporation- recent album Saudade available @ Amazon, almost entirely French
  10. Doesn't seem to be a specific foreign music thread, rather just scattered foreign artists across multiple threads. If there is and I didn't find it, guide my soul to it. I figure this would be a good place to share great artists who perform under other languages aside from English. Anyone know any killer Japanese shoegaze? Indian punk rock? Turkish dub? Chilean garage rock? French rap? African acid jazz? Swedish post rock? I'm sure everything exists somewhere. Share please! More often than not this stuff is hard to come by on vinyl, so this would also be the place to share if its available. My recommendations: Spanish rock: Kinky- Mexican electro rock. Sueno De La Maquina avail. on vinyl @ Amazon Zoe- Mexican dream pop/rock Astro- Chilean electro rock Caifanes/Jaguares- Mexican rock La Ley- Chilean rock (Chile's the Cure in their early days) Volumen Cero- Mexican post punk/indie rock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C297K3s3c24
  11. Couldn't find a thread for this release. The Subways are releasing their 4th album. Pre-orders are up on their website & amazon. Amazon carries 2XLP standard version: US Amazon - $42.99prime or go the route I took and order from Amazon UK £17.99 (which drops to £14.99 for US orders). Total was $28USD shipped from AmazonUK. Limited signed releases and bundles of the album @ Pledgemusic (probably best option) Artwork done by Hungarian street artist in comic book fashion. Cool release!
  12. ( ) & AG are easily among the best albums of all time. I'd love to wipe my memory of them and hear them again for the first time
  13. I actually read somewhere those limited edition socks were anti-jizz/jizz repellent. The point was to insulate the shaft with icelandic wool during the hard winters without having to take it off when having a quick wank. Supposedly, the vinyl is a milky jizz splatter, but those are just rumors.
  14. PM for M83- Hurry Up, We're Dreaming Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross- Gone Girl OST Thom Yorke- Tomorrow's Modern Boxes Daughter- His Young Heart EP
  15. jesus & mary chain, slowdive, talking heads, swans, JD, great foundations my friend.
  16. For those who don't have it, I encourage everyone to get a copy of "Drumless" Kill For Love, it sounds like heaven.
  17. For those of you from the US and ordered it from sandbag/waste.UK, do you know what mail carrier is used to deliver these? USPS, UPS, DHL, Fedex? Also, do you know if it has a tracking number attached to it?
  18. Yep. Excellent business model = spoiled happy fans. All I'm missing Kill For Love, and the ivory release sounds awesome.
  19. You might have a distributor near where you live most likely.
  20. Time will tell what Coquelin can do, but I agree, he looked solid at the base. I'm a little afraid his performances may dip with the pressure he'll be put under from now on, which is why I definitely think he should be allowed gameplay but only under an experienced and proved holding midfielder which Arsenal have needed. The reason I suggested Pogba is because he reminds me so much of Patrick Viera, but you're right in suggesting he may be tempted to play on the attack, cause why not, he's got a great foot. I hear they're chasing Hector Moreno for CB, which would be a solid addition. Up until he smashed his shin bone at the world cup he was looking unbeatable for Mexico. Realistically speaking, Arsenal probably won't be able to attract a big name striker next year unless they improve the ladder half of the season by deservingly qualifying for the champions league & winning the F.A. cup again. Strikers are motived by several things, salaries (which AFC don't have), club status(we're no Barca or Real), a coach ( Guardiola or Mourhino attract big names because of their reputations. Wenger will always be respected but in the football world his light is diminishing) or a promising team, which is what Arsenal are. If Liverpool think they can get Benzema, then Arsenal have an even better chance. I hear Cavani is in the mix too, but he's been sketch his entire season at PSG. In the meantime, if Walcott regains confidence and physicality, why not play Sanchez up front with Ozil behind him, Cazorla on the left and Walcott on the right, with Wilshere out, its the best time to snag a proven CDM to play alongside Ramsey in the middle. Let's hope we can fuel this run of promising gameplay. Arsenal tend to lose focus, but this was a major victory
  21. Plane tickets. A large cigar box stacked with plane tickets for my future kids to say, "what the fuck dad".
