I play an Epi Dot through a Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+. Really though, I'm a singer. This is important, as I spend as much time avoiding playing the guitar as possible.

I lucked out in the most hardcore of ways. Someone that stuffs ads for newspapers saw in the Toys R Us ad that they were opening preorders that Sunday morning. They posted their discovery online, and I waited up all night to call in the morning. Sure enough, they were. I got there 40 minutes after opening and was the 2nd person to preorder. The funny thing is, when I went to pick the thing up, the Best Buy and Target in the mall had TONS of people waiting. I showed up an hour early and there was ONE person in front of me at TRU.

And the thing is, there's a message to this song that is apparently very important to him. With my (admittedly, only) cursory knowledge of the lyrics, I think it's about the N word and how it perpetuates racism no matter who uses it. But it's an awful song, performed in a somewhat bombastic manner. If he didn't ride that hook and loop to death it wouldn't be so bad - or so funny.

I can set the counterweight, that's it. I do it every time I move the player.

Yeah. Victory has put out some incredible stuff over the years, and still has some pretty sweet bands (I'm a fan of BTBAM especially). I don't want to give them any money, though.

hah. I have been explaining this to people for a while, especially as it relates to how recorded music just keeps sounding worse. I thought the reference to Raw Power was kinda funny. I'm pretty sure in the liner notes Iggy freely admitted to mixing everything so it would be clipping.

love the nuts out of my Wii. I actually rented and beat RE4 when it came out for the GC a couple of years ago, but it was fully worth the $30 to play through it again. So much fun. I can actually finally beat every last one of those stupid shooting challenges now!
