Somebody just reissue VV:2 for fucks sake.
Never got around to that one myself, but I've been craving a Vaudeville Villain reissue.
JJ Doom was pretty good but I don't need to own it.

Hell yes, super stoked for this. Pre-ordered.

I liked the last album, looking forward to this one. Don't feel the need to pre-order though, just showing my support.
-
Searched for this to get any feedback - surprised there were never any responses to this.
So I hear it's vinyl-only, no streaming and no download code. Any opinions on this? I'll find a way to listen digitally but I'm curious what people think if they've picked it up.

Anyone know if Stolen Body has any of these left? Cannot access their site today.

Stolen Body have got their 4 variants in ready to ship soon, for those who bought any...I think I got the bottom two variants:
Art and packaging looks great! I especially like the green one.

Tempted by this, all three are really great albums. However, I don't listen to this stuff that much anymore. Will need to re-listen.

This band has been very hit or miss for me over the years, with some downright cringe-worthy material. Yet I'm still always curious when they put out a new album because they're capable of making good songs. I like the new song. Will steam when it's out.

I'm surprised this album isn't actually on Spotify yet. I was able to find it a week ago by searching for the album name, but it's not showing up when searching the band name. Also, the full track list is shown but only 2 tracks are streamable. Seems odd when all other recent albums have been readily streamable.

The Polygondwanaland thread caused me to look into the abyss and made me think that maybe I should focus a little less on collecting variants, hahah. 2018: the year of black vinyl? Maybe.

Yeah - I've already started to give less of a fuck about colored variants, although I wasn't even close to being one of the most obsessed and was 99% of the time content with owning just one variant if multiple were available. But the whole thing is just too stressful and I hate pre-ordering stuff really, much prefer to pick up in store after I've had a chance to determine how much I like it. Part of this is just needing to slow down the rate at which my collection grows anyway. And I'd sometimes (like most everyone) get lured into pre-ordering/purchasing something because of a limited color variant, even if I didn't love it. Look shiny pretty thing! Yeah enough of that.

Got my Bubblewrap Collective red/black swirl Polygondwanaland today, just finished the first spin. Sounds so good, really like this album.

Got a pumpkin one because it looks better to me.
Happy new year!

Just seen on FB that the https://bubblewrapcollective.co.uk/product/polygondwanaland/ varriant has arrived & will start shipping today/tomorrow!
Awesome, thanks for the update. That's one I ordered.
Edit: That said, I haven't received any shipping notification at this point, but maybe they're not set up to do that. Or maybe I missed it in my junk mail.

Hell yes - super stoked!
That said, I'm gonna stop listening to any new singles now that I know the recent ones are all on the album. Rather hear the whole album at once. Luckily I've only played the recent singles once each, twice max for one or two of them.

Sorry for the nine-years-too-late bump, but I recently threw on Fantastic Four. Was curious to see if it was repressed and I saw that there was a "remixed and remastered" version on iTunes. Sounds like GARBAGE, haha. What gives?
That's probably the one I have, judging by the alternate artwork compared to the original. Wonder if I've ever heard the original, then?
Either way, big fan of Fireside - haven't listened to them in a bit and now seems like a good time as what I was listening to just finished.

Hope it will be still available in 3 weeks, i'm really boke now..
I suspect they will be. 500 seems low but they're not so widely known really. If the response here is any indication...

Suicide Squeeze just jumped in on this. Limited to 500 LPs on Cosmic opaque red (side A) and translucent yellow (side vinyl. No details about packaging, artwork, etc. at this point.

Hmm...for those you like me that put in order for any of the Needlejuice variants...I received an email from them, with a vote on 2 back cover designs.
Not surprising the circular craziness, as designed by Beau Micheli, is storming ahead, with a 92% of the vote...from 268 voters, including me!
If you've placed an order with NJ, then you'll have had the email..but if you haven't..here's the link:

6 hours ago, TheDuke said:Yeah I agree..it was too cartoonish to be proper Gizzyness. The Circular Craziness is one of the better designs out there. If needlejuices ignores a 92 % vote in favour of the 2nd design...then they really ought not to be running a rikkid label!
Oof yeah, the type on those stones with the embossing is absolutely horrid, and the Circular Craziness is absolutely stellar!

The Washington, D.C. band's second and final album is being reissued for its 20th anniversary (released October 1997). For those unfamiliar with the band, a few members were also involved in other great D.C. bands Faraquet and Medications. If you like DC post-hardcore, check it out.
2LP on clear vinyl limited to 500 copies. Ships on or around December 15.

For a 2LP with nice artwork, printed inner sleeves, and an etching, sure it's a fair price, but the album could have fit on a single LP so I don't know, it's pushing it.
I wouldn't be making this comment if I was really into the album though. But I've only played it once, maybe it'll grow on me in time.

That website doesnt work. Had two or three of their records and sold them. Glad to be able to rebuy
It's intermittent - their server sucks. Go here instead, it's where the pro-order links go from the feltdecade.com site anyway:

Nice I'm interested in this - but need to revisit the albums as it's been a while and I've only listened to them a handful of times.
Also the link won't load at the moment.

I pre-ordered the splatter version right away, but wish they'd gone with orange like the CD for the "standard" first press. Now there's the Rough Trade limited orange? Dammit I don't need two copies.
