Managed to snag a Dino DNA one after they sold out initially - but I had no idea they were restocking the Dilophosaurus variants. Link to the shirt on their Bandcamp? I'm not seeing it. It was the He-man inspired image they used for the tour poster on a black background. Really cool shirt but I sadly blew too much money on the surprise pixies gig last night and ended up not buying any merch from King Gizz.

Yeah, I got mine the other day. Weirdly enough my copy of Rust was black, despite me ordering way before posting this thread and getting one of the first orders in. I think what happened was I ordered the Daisuke 7" a few hours after, and when they noticed I paid for shipping twice, they automatically canceled my first order and made a new one to combine the shipping, and I ended up with the black Rust. I've emailed Swedish Columbia about it, but I'm pretty doubtful they'll be able to help. If anyone has a yellow Rust, I'm willing to trade a black original press of Daisuke for it.

El Huervo has just announced the sale of a new 7" featuring two of his tracks from Hotline Miami 2 (that to the best of my knowledge were NOT pressed on the recent vinyl 3XLP) "Rust" and "Ghost". I found the magenta Marquee Moon in-store the other day and was able to grab it for 25% off - I'm really happy with it - it's super thick and heavy and the color is gorgeous, pictures really don't do it justice. It has some nice subtle swirl / marble texture that shows up when you hold it against some light. As far as the sound, I definitely noticed more low-end than on my Rhino Repress, but weirdly enough it seems like this press is also on Rhino, so no idea what that's about. Snagged a copy yesterday, didn't even realize it included the flexi (and didn't see the poster either). I ended up ordering the poster separately which ran me $6 shipped and included a note to the seller to refund me $4 if they could ship them together - but I kinda doubt they'll do that.

Listen to Motorcycle Cop on this EP, you'll probably dig it. Definitely my favorite of the bunch.

Never heard this guys albums, but I dug his stuff in Hotline Miami 1 and 2. Saw these represses and spontaneously dropped $37 on a pink copy having only heard half the album (that freakin artwork mang) Afterwards I was a bit worried on my first listen - but now it's seriously growing on me. Love the campy, sci-fi action vibe. Some good melodies on there too.

Yeah, that was my mistake. I did mean the Rhino repress. The bass was all but absent on it.

I'll admit, it's the only copy I can remember hearing. I think my friend might have spun the original press at my place once but I don't have a clear memory of it. It's quiet and nice sounding but it's like all the low end was sucked out of it, the bass is barely audible.

Yeah, I saw that - I guess this thread is more about determining if there's a colored variant, or if any copies were ever stocked on the casteface website. Just seems strange it would say "sold out" to me if it's never been on sale, combined with the fact that I've read quite a few people online already have it.

I was wondering what happened to the rapid-fire pace of these presses. Magenta Marquee Moon looks pretty nice, but I'm not sure if I can justify it - I was a little underwhelmed with the low-end on my Music On Vinyl repress.

Same here! But I'll be happy enough not paying the currency conversion. I guess everywhere is reporting it's been pushed back til 8/22, which would unfortunately explain why it's not yet been announced. Probably the lack of pressing plant availability.

So I was lucky enough to grab the King Gizzard "Quarters" and Thee Oh Sees "Mutilator" colored presses before they sold out, but I couldn't help myself from wondering about the new John Dwyer album "Cold Hot Plumbs", being released under his Damaged Bug moniker, released June 6th (as far as I can tell) Then today I noticed this: http://www.castlefacerecords.com/products/damaged-bug-cold-hot-plumbs WTF? Did I miss the pre-order and didn't even realize it? I guess people at gigs have been finding them at the merch booth and there's a few pictures of them on instagram, but I haven't seen anything about a colored variant yet. I even emailed Castleface a wordy message asking about variants and if I could order from them directly, and received a four-word (and not exactly helpful) response almost instantly from Matt:

I emailed Ghostly International and they said this press hasn't been officially / formally announced yet and to keep an eye on Twitter for the announcement. I wasn't satisfied, so I asked them if the green / limited press was exclusive to New On Vinyl and what my chances looked like for buying one without paying that insane shipping. They confirmed that it is NOT exclusive to New On Vinyl and they said "you shouldn't have too much difficulty" getting a green limited edition in the states once they are officially announced. Thank god, because I totally would've done it.

Yeah, I have one. Interestingly enough, I don't see the catalog number listed on the jacket, and the deadwax of my record says STH2065A. I actually emailed the label about this press before I bought it and what they told me about it was pretty much completely accurate - the only difference between this and the regular version is the outer sleeve. There's no lyric booklet like with the Vinyl Me Please press and no insert. However, the outer sleeve itself is pretty beautiful. They printed it on metalic ink, so its' got a matte finish silver quality to it - much darker looking than the regular record. The orange is also more of a bright, glowish orange rather than a darker orange. Seems like it sold out on Stones Throw but is still available on Discogs for not too much.
