  1. Yeah..no windows..but its got a bathroom and that's just yr bedroom...there's a common area with windows....
  2. this is prolly the cheapest apt in a nice area ive seen...id love not to let it go
  3. Drum Nation Volume 3 Its a comp and has all these SICK metal/hardcore drummers on it (i.e chriss penne) def. check that out...
  4. Such a great band live and otherwise... anyone want to part with the city mouse 7" ive had a bitch of a time finding it...
  5. i work @ a borders....that damn soundtrack cant stay in stock....but theres a reason it'll be the best selling... disney has a tendency to rerelease EVERYTHING @ least twice...and the kids that watch this buy all editions...hell the dvd of HSM has 3 editions alone and ive seen the same customers buy them all...regardless if the only extra is a karaoke section... welcome to the future
  6. Hey, kinda a random thing, buuuut... I'm moving to the wonderous Brooklyn NY January 1st. Currently my friend Liz lives there and this really only means we are extending the lease so there wont be any first and last to pay...just 1 months rent before ya move in... speaking of rent its going to cost between 650$ and 675$ a month plus utilities for the room, the only down side is its on the G line (bedford/Nostrand stop) and this particular room has no windows.....but it does have its own bathroom to make up for that. if any one is intrested and wants more info hit me up here or on aim (speedofsoundxxx for those of you who dont want to click a button) @ this point we just want someone who isnt really sketchy and is kinda chill... our original 3rd roomie bailed @ the last minute and now we are kinda up the creek...we could find a new apt. but it would be so much easier if we didnt have to. so if anyone here is intrested (or knows an intrested party) I'd be greatly appreciative... THANKS! (small bonuses: i own over 3000 cds and over 500 dvds(hours of entertainment)...we will have a wii (x2!), n64, gamecube, dreamcast, snes in the apt so that should make things pretty fun in the apt.)
  7. i got mine, i need to come up with some clues and dig around for something little to put in...
  8. Give me your War All the Time and I'll help fund a little bit of that record label. hahaha....prolly not....im good there...i just think @ this point id run it into the ground....but in a few years i'll get back @ ya...lol
  9. all in all i can take or leave panic and that album was totally worth the 3 $ i paid...and the afi boxset was a cool find @ the price... as far as interpunk goes, 21$ for an album is bullshit. they're just gonna charge 14$ to ship it...if they didnt have sweet preorder deals (screen printed paulson poster? yes please! straylight album on vinyl? of course!) i wouldnt give them any effing money @ all...
  10. it was a shitty pop punk band i was in like 5 or 6 years ago...it stuck... to be honest i really like it and will probably use some form of it for my future record label (mmmm dreams...)
  11. Haha....truth be told I like fall out boy and panic are kinda like diet fall out boy lite with extra splenda...
  12. I really like it when hot topic does that...I got panic @ the disco for 3$...
  13. I just got the afi december underground boxset and the armor williamsburg single for 30$ @ the virgin megastore... Mighta been the best deal I've ever gotten there...
  14. Al mine are 7" I have: Motion city/limbeck split (clear blue/screeded bside) Murder by death - for matt davis Dredg - bug eyes John ralston - when we were cats (clear teal) Anchor & braille - s/t (dark blue marble) Cruiserweight - operation eyes closed/vacation (clear blue/pink screened bside) I don't know how may are true tour pressings..but I've never seen any of them anywhere else (except the cruiserweight one...they had a bunch left after the tour and sell them via the bcd store)
  15. I'd image if its played @ 33 speed it might work... But it may need to be a triple 7"....that would be awesome though
  16. This is such a loaded question...let the hazing for me begin... 1. Green day 1039/slappy: I bought this and the presidents of the usa albums @ the same time...first time I EVER bought my own cds...I picked that green day album over dookie (which for some odd reason I still don't own...over 3000 real cds and I don't have dookie) because my friend I was with told me it was better (he really just used me to copy it to tape...but I have to give it up...it was amazing... 2. Korn - follow the leader: I got this my sophmore year of high school when I heard this cool senoir playing it in his car...I asked him what it was and he said " you've never heard korn? Go buy it, now." So I did...and I was blown away...to an angsty teenager this was exactly what I wanted to hear. 3: dillinger escape plan - calculating infinity: this dude mike kept talking about dillinger and botch all the time and he was an awesome dude...I found this first and never stopped listening....I eventually got we are the romans and those 2 records pretty much shaped me musically for most of college. 4: mest - destination unknown: my college roomate downloaded this off napster (yeah napster...I'm old school) and listened to it every night before bed....seans now one of my closest friends and hearing cadalliac brings back all the memories of living with that dude...such a great point of my life...it was the first time I was really me.... 5: thursday - the full collapse: this was the disc that introduced me to post punk...from here I discovered the victory catalog (I bought anything with that dog logo until I heard hawthorne heights...then I stopped) I can thank thursday for getting me into: snapcase, tbs, reunion show and countless other bands I love now. I can also thank them for getting me into thrice and coheed...I my 1st thusday show I was able to accutally stay for or even get to was @ roseland in nyc withthem opening...and thrice are one of my top 3 fav. Bands now...thanks thursday. Honorable mentions: Fall out boy - take this to you grave: there's a girl I know from long island who is their biggest fan ever...I met her @ a fob show...and I can say she's one of the few girls I've ever been involved with I can say I love...even if she's a lying whore...lol The juliana theory - understand this is a dream: this album was the first real emo record I got into....from here I discovered the get up kids, braid, jawbreaker and many others....much love for them...and one hell of a live show (r.i.p.) Lostprophets - thefakesound of progress: these guys are my favorite band. I got to jump onstage and sing part of the chorus to shinobi @ bowery ballroom back in 02...best night of my life. Dashboard confessional - the places you have come to fear the most: know those girls who stand in the front row of all the northeast dash shows and cry....I dated one of them...and she's my "the one"(you know the girl....that one you dated and no matter how hard you try you never seem to be over her, even when you think you are you hear a bar in a song and everything comes flooding back)...still to this day the most amazing person I've ever met... There you go!

  20. I could have been mistaken, but I doubt it...I looked around online and I may have just thought the teal version had the kanye remix...either way I ordered the dj single...lol
  21. Np...I find myself defending the fact I like fob way too much...its starting to get to me I guess...no hard feelings
