Etsy probably has plenty of cheaper ones (but also just as expensive) when compared to LUSH, but can't speak much to that. If ordering from LUSH, it can easily end up being cheaper if you order from the UK than buying in the US. Their prices are more reasonable, exchange rate considering, and shipping isn't too bad, either. 

Yeah, I can pass a drug test. I didn't figure it'd be an issue and knew it wouldn't be on its own, but wasn't sure if my choice vocabulary/dumping on many people/places/politics would reflect badly upon me and bump me down the list of prospects.

Finding a job at your age shouldn't be so stressful - they're all throw away jobs truly. You're probably not going to find a job you really like, but it's not hard to find something tolerable.

Also, a resume, while impressive for someone in your shoes, seems like overkill for anything you're seeking out. Online and in-store applications are fairly typical, as previously mentioned. Good luck Dom!

What does a background check entail. Does that mean they'll find my account here? I don't have anything awful but I have some stuff that probably wouldn't help my case + my leaning towards profanity. No idea if that matters. I got a few applications and am applying to a few others online so I should be able to secure something

Also, if you're older, drug testing is fairly common in background checks, but nothing you have to worry about.

last night my gf asked me why would I want to get married to her because essentially all we are best friends; we don't really mess around and stuff, but I know relationships aren't based on that and I don't care and haven't cared for a while. She seems to think that I deserve someone that will satiate all my needs and wants.

Well, that's quite the loaded question.

While I think a relationship that is serious enough for marriage to be a possibility should involve two people who do consider themselves best friends, a lack of physical intimacy (if that's what you mean by fooling around) sounds like there's something missing. Maybe relationships aren't based on it in your mind, but not caring about it seems...peculiar, in my opinion, if only for the fact that it's one of the easiest ways to share a bond with someone. 

She could be feeling a whole myriad of emotions when it comes to your situation if she asked you that - insecurity in your relationship and herself if you seem to have no interest in that area, unfulfilled and trying to hint that maybe she wants more, among others.

Obviously we don't know the facets of your relationship like you do, but I'd try and ask her if there is something more that you could bring to the relationship to make her feel more secure in it.

While I did like The Red Woman for the most part, I felt like they definitely rushed through some set-ups that, in the earlier seasons, would've taken at least an episode to come to fruition. Excited to see where this season is headed, though!

Can I just say that I highly recommend ordering the random LP bundles from Broken World. Over the years I've ordered probably 10 random records, never got any duplicates, and everything has been at least worth a listen. $5 is a pretty fair price for a record from a band I've never listened to. I've gotten a few where I was like "Oh cool, I wanted this" but most of them have been completely new to me.

I'd honestly listen to a lot more unknown new stuff if I could get the LP for $5. Is that weird that I'm more likely to listen to a record than stream something on bandcamp?

I think I'm in the same boat, honestly. On bandcamp or the Internet in general, there's just such an oversaturation of music available, that I almost get overwhelmed and wish there was something already picked for me to check out, as lazy at that sounds. But in the cases where I have a physical copy of something I spent money on, I feel obligated to give it a diplomatic and unbiased listen.

That being said, any promoter CDs I received while working in radio I wanted to throw out my car window, because 11/10 times they were garbage.

What's new in everyone's lives? 

I still feel like death this morning, so called off. I have no problem working sick, except when incredibly dizzy, vomiting or diarrhea and of course I've had all in the last day. Going to go back to the doctor later just to double check it is the pills causing it, and I'm not getting sick or something and it's just a coincidence when it happened.

Also Kokomo - S/T was sold out, even though the website said otherwise . Cancelled my entire order, since just shipping If Wolves is too much. Hopefully I can find them on Discogs. Also still no fucking word from Jeff Rosenstock on my Antarctigo Vespucci. What a shitty way to run a label.

If you can't find the Kokomo elsewhere, I can sell you mine at cost if you're interested. I'm still out a receiver, so they're just sitting around unplayed.

Someone saw the "Fuck Donald Trump" sticker on my car and started screaming about how Muslims are gonna come over here and cut the heads off Christian children
