  1. Got to catch up on the past two episodes last night, and damn, am I loving what's been going on. I had been suspecting the Bernard twist since episode one or two, so while it was neat seeing that played out, not too much of a shock. I really enjoy all of the strong female leads on this show as well, especially with Maeve, but I'm hoping those numbers don't dwindle too fast D:

Anyone else kind of wondering how long this show can go on?

Who wants to come help me finish raking my yard? I worked for a few hours Saturday, all day yesterday and probably have an hour or two worth to do tonight. The giant tree in my backyard decided to drop all it's leaves at once, so the yard was covered in 3-4 inches of leaves. It took forever. For some reason my neighborhood is one of the first this year for the city leaf pick up, so I need to done tonight since they are collecting tomorrow.

In the same boat! Four giant maple trees just dropped a bunch this past week, and spent what felt like forever cleaning the yard (and yet there are still quite a few that have dropped since). My favorite part is that my neighbor blew them back into my yard as if it's my responsibility to make sure the trees on the property's edge don't drop their leaves over her fence

Admittedly, it was pretty fun jumping into the big piles after I got most of it done :D

Fuck. Just went to Walmart and got lucky to score one of those Nintendo classics...it's a great thing work is closed tomorrow because I ain't getting no sleep...

That thing looks pretty awesome, if only for the hdmi adaptability.

Speaking of NES/SNES, to this day I still haven't even gotten close to beating any of the 3 Star Wars games I have for it. I don't understand who they designed those games for D:

Bernie was not going to beat Trump.  No one was after that turnout.  Trump pulled in voters in Rural America who have not voted recently or ever.  He won because he got rural PA and rural Florida and rural Wisconsin and rural Michigan.  Hillary and Bernie were NEVER going to get those votes.  People saying Bernie would have gotten more millenial votes, yeah, he would have, but he would not have gotten the moderate conservatives that HRC did, who might have ended up voting for Trump instead.  It would have been 4 months of Commie Sanders or Socialist Bernie instead of Crooked Hillary.

Our system works, we may not like the outcome because it doesn't align to our beliefs or hopes or wishes, but it works because EVERYONE has a voice, and I dont think any election result could be more evident of that than this one.

This election sure does seem to have a Nader effect in swing states, I don't really believe that 3rd party votes swayed this election one way or the other, but it certainly will be talked about ad nausea for the next decade at least.

Hillary looks to be winning the popular vote, though, so I'd venture to say Bernie absolutely would have pulled the same off.

Electoral college, however...that is the upsetting part.

  5. My pain tolerance really depends on the area, if that makes sense? If I eat shit while skating or doing something of my own accord - to the extent of broken bones or needing stitches - my reaction is usually to laugh it off because of adrenaline. However,  every time I burn or cut myself at work, it's hard to not focus on the pain the rest of the shift.

And fuck yes @Thomas³! Hope they play some of their older stuff for you ;)

I pierced one myself 14 years ago...and it got ripped out. But that's because I didn't do it far enough back. That's also why it healed and didn't leave a scar.

You have more grit than I do haha. I could barely deal with re-piercing my nose a couple times

I'm also irrationally afraid as a woman that piercing nipples would somehow mess up breastfeeding later in life D:

That's weird, it says you gave me rep. The forums are just forever broken at this point I think. I've stopped even noting the weird shit that happens sometimes.

Oh wow...that's brutal. When I lived further downstate there were even more and better indie movie options, but it's not too bad around here.

We don't get a lot of those "Christain faith based films." Everyone once in awhile the biggest Regal will have one playing like twice a day in their smallest auditorium. That same Regal plays a SHIT LOAD of Indian/Bollywood films. There are like 3 there right now. Personally, not my thing. But I'd rather that then those bullshit Kirk Cameron CHRISTIAN FAMILY VALUES movies.

Kinda cool/quirky about the bollywood films - is there that much of a population for the choice to cater to that audience?

We usually don't get too many Christian ones, but the bummer is that we have one 8 screen theater, and it frequently only shows 6 movies, doubling up on 2 of the movies playing, that never sell out anyway, so we miss out on certain films that are even wide-releases. As an example, years ago Iron Giant was never played, and I'm still hung up about it haha

It's interesting to see on other boards/sites the hostility with the one timeline or two timeline theory.

Hostile? Speaking just in terms of trivial entertainment, I don't understand why anyone would be so convinced of something to the point of being angry, when it's completely ambiguous.

Fuckin' A. Each episode brings up more and more questions and no answers. Just hints and misleading info. Red herrings left and right.

And NIN's "Something I Can Never Have" during the orgy scene. Interesting choice. Heh.

While I definitely enjoy watching every episode, just from the visuals and mood it sets, this whole show feels like a smoking gun. Maybe I'm impatient, but making things more confusing every week without really hinting at anyone's motives is making it hard to connect with the characters or plot.

Lawrence made a pretty quick turnaround from being exsanguinated to then popping up in Pariah - seems like more evidence of multiple timelines. Also, yay to Logan getting the piss beat out of him!

Does anyone else feel like when you're watching this show that you're just understanding fragments of a story but have no idea what the bigger picture is?  I definitely need to re-watch but I was planning on doing that after the whole season is done.

Especially after watching this week's episode, I agree completely. Figured there would have to be more than meets the eye to the show than just the obvious plot from the film, so it's interesting seeing how big of a maze the story is going to turn into. Definitely feel like I need to rewatch all the episodes once the season wraps to hopefully get a better understanding of all that is going on.

So now that it seems a bit clearer that the Man in Black is in fact human and not Arnold, kind of curious if Bernard is going to turn out to be a copy/host of Arnold? Feels like Ford has some sort of odd god-complex beyond just Westworld's park (which is pretty self-explanatory given what he created), and his tabs and conversations with Bernard seem a little too pointed.
