speaking of Metroid, I am just finding out that there is a 7" record from Fun House back in the 80's that has Metroid and Kid Icarus on it. I need it. If anyone has it let me know.

also there is an Adventure Island one as well, which I'd also be very interested in.

I actually have the Adventure Island one and all three of the Nintendo Funhouse 7"s. The Adventure Island one isn't that great. It has the game music but an announcer talking over it. It's a fun release, but I wish it was the game music.

The Metroid/Kid Icarus 7" is definitely the hardest to find. I was the highest bidder on the recent auction but got outbid at 40,000 yen. Was going to replace my copy, which has some surface noise that I wish wasn't there.

Is anyone else experiencing major delays with over seas orders? I have one package coming in from Poland and one coming in from China. Both of which were shipped December 2. Both tracking says awaiting shipment from destination.

I reached out to one buyer that told me the NYC distribution center is extremely backed up and experiencing major delays. Just hoping they both aren't lost. One was a Christmas present for my brother, too.

I have as well. I had a package shipped from Japan on December 16th and no update since it left Japan. I'm really bummed and anxious since there's a record in the package that I've been looking for for many years and haven't seen one for sale until the one I bought.

Someone got an (ugly) picture disc from Back to the Future part II. No actual art on the vinyl itself.

I kinda want to see this ugly picture disc. I have a regular black Test Press of BTTF II that I bought at Mondocon last year.

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive, but a friend of mine got his yesterday and received Pet Sematary and Over the Garden Wall.

  4. Also, there is this pretty cheap German disco album that's a tribute to John Carpenter themes. How could you not love a dancy version of the Halloween theme?

Also, to tide you over until you get some of those records this website http://www.aquariumdrunkard.com has made some amazing free mixtapes of old halloween/horror music. The comps are called Trick or Treat. I think they're up to volume 9 and each one is well over an hour long. There are some great and rare songs on them. I listen to them year round.

  5. Coming up in October, Waxwork Records is releasing the soundtrack to Mad Monster Party, which would be a fun addition.

There are a few comps out there that are bunch of rare 50s, 60s and 70s horror songs.

I saw someone recommended the Frankie Stein records and also the Ghouls (which I couldn't recommended enough, especially the Ghouls).

This is one of my favorite 45s that I own, it's a promo 45 put out by this horror host in Syracuse New York named Baron Daemon. https://www.discogs.com/Baron-Daemon-The-Vampires-The-Transylvania-Twist-Ghost-Guitars/release/6387861The two songs are so amazing. It's kinda pricey but well worth it.

This Munsters album is another great Halloween album if you can get your hands on one. https://www.discogs.com/Munsters-The-Munsters/release/3997698

This is also one of my personal favorites. https://www.discogs.com/Wade-Denning-With-Kay-Lande-Halloween/master/674354

It's Wade Dennings and Kay Lande, who put out other kid records way back when. Again, it is kinda pricey but I've definitely seen it in cheap bins. I think people see the record and assume it's garbage. The song Halloween Dance is so fun and catchy. You can check it out here

  6. You might have already seen my comment on Reddit,  but I'll have to say it again,  thanks for a much needed reissue!

After years of looking, I finally got an original for an amazingly low price,  but will more than likely pick this one up.

I always get people asking what it is when I DJ some of their songs, mostly U.R.E. and Don't Just Sit There. It'll be nice to direct people your way as an affordable way to get it.

Came across this on Discogs - A German bootleg pressing of the Ecco The Dolphin soundtrack on blue vinyl. I think it's the Sega CD version (which is different to the Mega Drive/Genesis version) https://www.discogs.com/Spencer-Nilsen-Ecco-The-Dolphin/release/8767719

I remember a few months back,  Data Discs posted something on Twitter about finding out that a title they were prepping was getting bootlegged. With it being a SEGA property,  I wouldn't be surprised if Ecco was the title they were talking about. If it was,  hopefully we'll still see a Data Discs version,  which I'm sure will be much better.

  8. As I'm sure members who live in Chicago can agree with this statement, seriously FUCK the Chicago Metro Hub.

I have a package with two records that I have rarely seen for sale coming from Japan. It's been roughly 27 days since they first shipped. About 17 of those days are days where my package went MIA in that black hole at the Metro Hub.

It's been very frustrating since the lady who I spoke with, who also rarely answers their phone or returns messages, basically said they're gone unless they randomly get scanned somewhere.

    Guess we'll see what happens.

    Such a bummer

  9. I can kinda see why they're so much. Back when the Friday the 13th blood filled record was made, I vaguely remember seeing how the records are assembled. It was explained that to create it they needed to press two separate single sided records that would eventually be sealed together with the liquid inbetween. This being a 2lp set and needing to have four separate records pressed in small quantities had to have been pricey to produce, not including the labor of having to hand assemble each one. Assuming these are made by the same guy, the process is probably the same.

I still think it's horribly expensive, but that's why I assume the price is so high. I still might try and get one but won't be upset if I don't get it.
