For anyone on the fence about joining for Demon Days, one of the mods on the VMP forum is saying that subs are finite and can 'sell out' I have no idea what those numbers are though.

I don't think crate is available to new members anymore. The National record is not the 'record of the month', it is an additional exclusive in the VMP store. If you sign up now you will get April's record of the month (rumoured to be Gorillaz - Demon Days) which should be announced next week and you will be able to shop the VMP store for the exclusives and curated titles.

Looking on discogs, it looks like purple is the US release and blue is the UK.

My copy is definitely blue. No sign of a slip mat though - not that I'm bothered about that.

Banquet confirmed the colour: "Hiya, thanks for pre-ordering this. The colour wasn't confirmed at the time it went online, but we've now been told it's pink / black vinyl. This variant is exclusive to Europe and limited to 2000."

My store won't do that. We can put requests in but everything is first come first served. I'm fortunate in the sense that I'm not interested in a lot of the mainstream releases. Last year I was able to turn up after lunch and everything I wanted was still on the shelf. However, if they're getting coheed then I might need to get down there early. It also keeps the excitement if you have to go and search through the store for the stuff you want.

Reactivated for 3 months. Was previously on the crate membership but cancelled that a few months ago. They were offering a $25 credit too, so not a bad deal overall.

They are scumbags. It's no different to ticket touting.

They cancelled one of the orders. That might mean they will be putting more up though.

I think you can. I don't know if the supermarkets / newsagents will stock every issue but they might order specific ones for you. Or you could try the deagostini webstore.
