I imagine the run for this will be pretty big (way bigger than Elephant), seeing as this has never had a widespread release. And Elephant was pretty easy to get on RSD.

I like that they are going with the regular release art for this, but that the promo art will also be used in some capacity.

Given the numbers in this thread, this is probably not an unreasonable assumption.

No official word, but with the next vault centered on that era and RSD right after the Vaults release, its a good assumption there will be an RSD re-issue of the album.

I interpret that as they have a general idea of how many they are getting. They may get shortchanged, but they are confident enough (probably given their stature) that they can do a web sale. But ordering earlier is better.

Mwng is the only LP I don't have so this is going to be a great pickup. The deluxe looks fantastic.

I would think if they went to the effort to design a box for this set, they would do a version of the black pressings. Maybe that will be the bundle option for the widespread release.

But was it really necessary? People were gonna buy them if they were limited or not. All they managed to do was piss some fans off. I said it earlier, they could have announced from the get go that standard black versions would be made available in the summer. The box still would have sold out. I don't think there are people who had no plans to purchase these LPs who have now decided to because 100 copies sold out in 20 min.

It will be interesting to see if this does come out on April 14th especially with the rumored Carnegie hall box set coming out the following week (assuming that date sticks). An April release for this does make more sense given the RSD 7" release.

Those dates correspond to a Spotify rollout. the LPs will be out at certain dates starting with RSD.
