The best I can find is that she didn't cast any people of color in the first season of girls. And then cast Donald Glover for a few episodes. Which doesn't scream racism, just that the first season was poorly casted or had a poorly written supporting cast. When I hear racism, I think people who believe to their core that certain people are not seen as equal or valued. Racists then don't go cast a type of person they hate as their boyfriend. But maybe there is something else, that's why I was asking. I mean, I get that people may not like Lena Dunham, but there are better things to dislike about her (like poorly representing millennialist, Brooklyn, or weak story lines). Calling her a racist sounds flimsy and easy.

I don't get how people weren't tipped off that they did go back to the original tapes when an early take of Jimi Thing was put on here by accident. Mistakes like that only happen when a tape is improperly labeled.

I'm curious as to which of those reviewers have even heard the album.

Some copies have shipped from Music Direct/DMB. Amazon is saying it ships in 2 weeks. There was a delay, so maybe they took it down until they get copies in.

No one has confirmed that Jimi Thing is different on the LP. Just the digital version. Also those reviews were posted by stans who heard incorrect info that this was cut from a CD when it has been confirmed that it has not been (24bit/96khtz). So ignore most of those reviews, it stems from a lot of butthurt that this wasn't cut directly from the analog tapes.

Probably the MP3 or CD of Possum. Usually that's sold months before the vinyl. This release seems consistent with the way things usually go ( if it he vinyl version isn't out until April). But shit happens, so we'll see.

Is it for sale elsewhere? I thought it's only the MP3 version, maybe the CD out in a few weeks.

Nah. They are. Whatever he learned from Ballard for Everyday (Keeping it simple or whatever the lesson was) really harmed his songwriting. His better songs pos Ballard seem to the unrefined songs they started road testing. Anything hes had to sit down and think about in the studio are pretty blah.
