I saw a midnight showing of this the night it came out (duhhh) as I do with every HP movie. Of course, the books and films aren't even comparable. They've become two completely different entities. Although, I thought the battle scene in the end of this one blew, as well as the inferi! Also, maybe if you didn't have to spend some much time and money on CGI bridge collapses, there would've been more time/money for other, more important things. My least favorite movie and book has always been The Chamber of Secrets. And my favorite books the last two, hands down. <3 i love harry potter so much. it's the only thing I have been in love with for this long. And I grew up with these books, how could I not love it?

dude, if you like the movies, why don't you have intentions of reading the books? The books are FAR superior, in fact, I feel like if you haven't read them, you're missing out on a lot of details in the films, because you don't know what's going on. anyways, I suggest you read them. they're incredible.

i completely agree with you. but, that's the problem. she's part of that few. Me, my current roomie, her and our other friend all moved to Chicago from Detroit together. She is my family. Back in Michigan, she even lived with me and my parents for a long time after her dad/step mom kicked her out. My mom calls her her daughter, and I've never once hesitated in saying that I have a sister, even though I am really an only child. but, I guess even family isn't always here to stay. I really do hope they break up. They want different things in life, have different ideals, and different interests. (i.e. my friend has good taste in music/films/books, her lady likes bullshit.) oh shit, I think she knows I'm pissed. I just got a text from her saying "we're gonna watch HP, if you want to come over". uh, no dude. I don't want to hang out with your girlfriend. I feel like I can't smoke/drink/swear in front of her because she is such a fucking square.

Maybe I will say something like that. I need to stop being so passive aggressive. I just, don't want to sound like I'm being critical of her decisions and whatever.
