I had a great relationship with my Dad when I was younger, but we just kind of stopped talking when I got into high school. I don't know if I scared him, being angsty and all, or if I grew intolerant of the man he is. It's been a year since I've moved out, and I feel we have begun getting closer. We've started talking more, about more than trivial things. I think it's been a mutual change. This is the first father's day that I haven't just signed my name on the card my Mom bought. I actually found something kind of cool to mail to him. p.s. i'm sorry to hear that your dad is sick. i wish him well.

i moved to Chicago. i started going to school for screenwriting. i started a new job at my local coffee house. in about 30,000 more debt. managed to keep a long distance relationship amazingly my drinking has turned into a noticeable problem, as well as blacking out. i'm working on being happy rather than complacent.

this is why i'm not going. well, and the prices. uhhh, partying with hippies is the best, they're nice, hilarious, always have good weed and will share their drugs/beer/absinthe with you. bonnaroo '09 WINS! best year yet, I think. Even though it was more like RAINAROO the first night. bruce did = sex indeed. biggest surprise of the year? PHOENIX! &the Yeah Yeah Yeah's. def, didn't expect them to be as amazing as they were.
