Super pissed. I just played my Playing Favorites vinyl for the first time, and during my FAVORITE SONG which I was looking forward to the entire record, Indigenous, it skips in 2 different places, and just keeps repeating. And I have to pick up the needle and move it further in the song. Is this something like dust that can be fixed? Or is this more likely to be a pressing defect.

I'm still going through the 25 records that i got in the mail. I found another one that is at 45rpm: Cannabis Corpse - Blunted At Birth.

Does it make a difference in sound quality or anything? Just wondering why there are different speeds. I just got my Minus The Bear - Planet Of Ice and was surprised to see that it is 45rpm.

Yup, they're all at room temperature now. I ordered it from vinylcollective.com, but I ordered it when pre-orders for The Big Dirty went up, so I ordered it months ago and it just recently shipped. :| holy shit thats so terrible!! I feel so bad for you. What a bitch, I hate when they leave stuff at your door. Anyone could just take it, or it could get ruined or something.

So I went on a vacation for 2 weeks, and my neighbors were supposed to get the mail for us while we were gone. I had 8 packages of vinyl coming in the mail (I got a little carried away). In our mailbox, if you get a package thats too big for the box they put a key in your box to open the big box at the bottom. So I get home, see that there are no records, but a key. They didn't know what the key was for (even though they use the EXACT SAME MAILBOX, and the key has a keychain on it with instructions on what the key is for). The box was full, there were 8 boxes (25 records!!) in it. My records had to suffer the cold of Toronto for 2 weeks!! so angry at them. haha. But there was an amazing surprise!! I ordered a black ETID box set and got a coloured one. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Cold doesn't hurt vinyl does it? I've listened to 3 or 4 records so far and they all sound fantastic.

Honestly, it is. lol. I don't really like white vinyl. I'd say its my least favorite colour of vinyl. But if it came between $50 on ebay, or $12 at Hot Topic, I would definitely go for the white.

It might just be the lighting in the picture, or it might be the fact that most of my coloured vinyl is still in the mail since when i started collecting 2 months ago, but that blue vinyl is one of the nicest looking records I've ever seen. haha

Does Robotic Empire send you an e-mail once they ship your order? I ordered a record on December 5. It is now December 17 and I haven't gotten any confirmation from them at all, and now it says that they are closed for the holidays.
