Turntable Lab are already teasing a Phoebe exclusive, might be Punisher, might be Stranger.

Lost In The Dream had similar random represses once they blew up (VMP, Newbury, Concerto). Japanese Breakfast had loads of random unnecessary  variants too (but think that might’ve just been Michelle requesting a new exclusive press each time she toured).

I think 2021 will be the year of the Stranger reissues, bet it’ll get a Secretly Society release too.

I was stupid enough to purchase the subscription. Something like this had me thinking it’d never make it to UK stores and the shipping charge was so low it almost made sense.

For an out of print album like Some Nights still available from the store I can’t imagine they’re that limited, and I even see UK indie stores putting preorders up for silver copies of The Academy Is...

Put through a refund request and will hopefully see that go through in time.

EU Webstore variant is red, ltd to 500.

Big Scary Monsters are starting a monthly subscription, the first month (Jan) will be a black in blue variant of this album. I'm a fan of the label and being in the UK this is a no brainer, free record if you sign up before the end of December too.

Personally not sure how this sub will work, there'll be an exclusive 7" every quarter but it seems to be a sub where you can join and drop at any time... hopefully more details soon.

Ultimate Success Today should be getting a new red press soon, probably for the LRSD event, to be released next month. 
 

Edit: might actually be extra copies of the red/blue press, but think it’ll be a new one. Similarly other Domino artists like Georgia and Shirley Collins are getting special LRSD releases.

I mean, yeah, potentially Secretly will send over RT leftover copies of the blue/green or the seaglass wave variants, but it's a tradition for them to press exclusives to coincide with their end of year list (see Secretly doing variants for Angel Olsen and Shame the last couple of years). The page now has an exclusive tag which it never did before, it has a different price, and a release date of November 2020, so I feel something is gonna happen.

How much is the crate sub per month? The swap for credits option has basically made it a free crate subscription if you don't mind building credit.

You could pay $81 for 3 months, if none of the 3 months appealed you could transfer them all back into credits to then pay for your next 3 month subscription, you'd still be part of the club with free shipping and access to exclusives, and you would no longer have to worry about dipping in and out when there is an exclusive you're interested in. The only downside is I think they charge for the next subscription before giving credits, so you might have to pay another $27 during your first quarter (which you'll get back in credit), and I guess they could pull the option to swap for credits at any point - they've been offering it for the last 3-4 months so I would hope it's going to continue.

The way I see it is you'd pay $108 for a lifetime crate subscription but you'd have $108 of store credit to use up when you decide you no longer want to be part of the club. As a member who's main interest is their store exclusives the credit swap option has been a game changer.

Sadly I doubt there will be as the show is 3 weeks ahead of the release date, I doubt the label will be distributing it that far in advance.

Supposedly the other T Swift albums were meant to be coming out for this? (Red, Reputation, Speak Now).

The plan is to do the first four [Taylor albums] for Record Store Day and then do the remaining catalog...for Black Friday in November

...whether that happens or not now as that plan didn’t exactly go ahead in April (they released 3 of her albums, her first, second and fifth).

Yellow isn't my thing and with 4000 pressed from UO that's an easy pass for me. I'm interested in what the "Limited 2LP Set" is though. Sent a facebook message to the store and will hopefully hear back soon. 

Whatrecords put limited in the title of all their listings, I expect that one will be standard black.
