Until Human, Death sounded just like any other early and influential death metal band. Nasty and thrashy. Since Human they started shining though and creating their legacy. Suddenly their music became more complicated, more melodic and more passionate even.

That must be only on the deluxe, right? My clear/oxblood doesn't have that. That sucks.

Oooohh! That was totally unexpected! Snatched myself the Blood Red and Gold Merge one! To be honest, that deluxe is kinda lame and overpriced.

I'm not particularly impressed after my first listen tbh. It lacks energy compared to their last two records. Also the mortality/grief theme gets tiring. Also, Jeremy tries new things with his vocals, which will need getting used to. It will of course grow on me. We'll see.
