i doubt you'd turn down a potential sellout show in a 800 cap venue. music blows but they pay for every show that fails for a year.

HANK JONES vocals started january 2004. at the time i lived in the upstairs apartment with chris who plays guitar. we decided to start a band with our friends nick on guitar and shayne on bass. then we moved downstairs when it became vacant and shayne/nick moved in upstairs. we recorded a 5 song demo, played some shows then decided 9 months later to really start working on recording a full record because every band in Erie at the time only recorded 3 or 4 song demos and that was it. so we did a full record, 14 songs, 23 minutes. when we finished recording i sent it to my friend pat who was in florida at the time, and gave it to alex from undecided records. he wanted to put it out, so we decided why not? we released it on undecided, did a couple of 3 week tours for it and then went back to school for the semester. then undecided folded, we kicked nick out, shayne quit, we got a new drummer jed, chris moved to guitar and seth joined on bass. we then recorded 6 new songs for a 7" on surprise attack records after seth moved to guitar and ben joined on bass. that came out, we did 3 of a 5 week tour that ended bcause of a family emergency for me. we really havent toured since, but we play out enough to keep ourselves happy. were starting to write more new songs, more punk than hardcore, it'll be cool. chris and i are the only members from the beginning, and when we started this band we never thought we'd be around 4 years later with two records and a demo and a couple hundred shows under our belts... its been surreal. i think were doing a 2 week tour this summer!

well family stuff is keeping me home and IF green bay is in the superbowl, well, my dad is from wisconsin, so im going to spend the day with him watching the game and hanging out. so as much as seeing HWM again would be unreal, if green bay makes the superbowl, i really cannot miss the chance to see it with my dad seeing as how i almost lost him twice in a span of 3 years... but at least i'll get to see chuck!

well, manny and i would really appreciate as much support as possible!!! our show will be over by 10:30, im sure the cleveland show wont be over till 1 as most shows at the grog shop run real late from my experience. hope to see you at the show troy!!
