  1. kirb, the review never made it up on punknews. we did get reviewed by lambgoat! 7/10! http://lambgoat.com/albums/view.aspx?id=2460
  2. That's what PMs with links are for. exactly! so someone ELSE can post them!
  3. we already have a full length on undecided records, buuuuuuutttttt, they suck, and its oop now. buy the 7"! its awesome. we're also in the process of writing some new songs... dunno what we're gunna do with them yet, but we want to sell more te 7" before we release another record.
  4. I would absolutely love too, but I have no idea if we'll ever actually make it to the west coast. we had a tour booked last summer (2006) that took us to the west and back, but then my dad had to have brain surgery and so we drove straight home from dallas to erie, had to cancel all the west coast dates, total bummer.
  5. You did good sir. If you've got the time send me a YSI link of the video. I'd love to have it. the video is terrible... one of the bearathon guys was taping and was competely wasted so its mostly video of shaking images, hahaha, god I cant believe how many people were in that house. do they still have shows there? I think I told everyone to do a circle pit through the entire house including the bedroom that was "off-limits". did anyone do it?
  6. yeah, pretty much. its on carson street, cant really miss it, its polished black with metal trim, really stands out.
  7. hey jake, any chance of the artwork from the hope con album ever being screen printed?
  8. CHATTANOOGA SHOWS FOR LIFE! THE SHOW DON'T END UNTIL THE PIZZA IS STUCK TO THE CEILING OF THE CLUB! God we miss you guys. Come back. I watched the video we have of that house show we played in march... I think i ripped the ceiling fan down? man, that was a hazy night for me.
  9. being in pittsburgh has nothing to do with it. I've been booking bands in Erie, PA for the last 8 years. I'm not knocking what you're doing, its awesome you book bands and shows, I was just voicing my thoughts that is all. but to continue with this discussion, I shall. your rent is considerably cheap I think. In Erie, rent for ANY show I do runs between $375 and $500, and when I booked shows at forward hall they were charging me from $250 + $1 a head to $750 flat depending on who was running the venue at the time. Here in Pittsburgh, it seems to be different, rent goes from $50 or 25% of the door (its 100 capacity, so highest i've ever paid was $250) which ever is greater at roboto project to $1500 for some of the large capacity rooms that hold 500 - 600 kids. I don't think Boston is any different than NYC, Cleveland or Pittsburgh. Its hard to get kids to come out for unhyped bands anywhere. There is just as much going on in Boston as there is in Pittsburgh. Maybe pittsburgh is smaller in size and population, but there is still a billion things going on every night here, competing for the same audience and fanbase as each other. I've lost money on half the shows i've booked here, but I still pay the bands what I promise them because being on tour playing a small show and leaving the end of the night with $20 is absolutely disheartening for young bands. Its great that you take care of bands, house them, feed them, all that. Im just talking about doing no guarantee's being my issue. Have you had shows completely fail and not paid a touring band before? I hope you never have too.
  10. I can't believe some of the complaints in this thread. kids going nuts is what adds to a bands live show. if you take that away, the bands lose some of that energy they draw from the crowds response. I'd rather have 10 kids going absolutely bonkers and nuts for my band than 100 kids just standing there looking like they bent their dick over their taint into their asshole. yes, there are shitty people who dance like assholes for hardcore shows, but its nothing new. apparently few of you are in bands?
  11. oh, and seriously, this band is fucking incredible live.
  12. thanks to this post Jake I just placed an order for this record and a few other records in your distro. Thanks for posting! By the way, what are the colors for this 7"?
  13. I put an offer in, but I think someone else will get it, I only really have access to Garfield for these kind of shows and its only 200 capacity... I have a feeling opus will get it for either club cafe/smalls... or even desiel may get it.. its weird.. my offer to me seems kinda high? but I have no idea what chuck is usually getting and im basing it off a $10 ticket.. I think its $12 everywhere else? oh, and I really appreciate your support scott, seriously!
  14. STOP DEBATING AND START LISTING YOUR TOP 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. no, deseil was Nick's Fat City in Southside across from the Rex Theatre. Why?
  16. gas is $3+ across the board. 15 passanger vans have gas tanks in the 24 - 34 gallon size... so to fill up a 30 gallon tank is nearly 100 bucks alone.. just to put it all into perspective on how expensive it is to tour right now.
  17. look at the bands. the starting line sugarcult chiodos the matches scary kids scaring kids my american heart thats stacked.
  18. i just put an offer in for this tour in Pittsburgh! holy fucking shit I am so fucking excited! Even if I don't get the show, they're definitely coming to Pittsburgh!
