  1. http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/e3028fb315/raaaaaaaandy-part-1-funny-people Wroth it for Ol' Youngin.
  2. The first time I erased them it said, "This will erase the songs from your iPod, wish to continue". I clicked "yes". Now when I reloaded the songs, everything appears as normal. Even when I access my iPod via iTunes the album shows up in the library with all the correct information, but when I disconnect it and search my library the album comes up but not the artist.
  3. So, a while ago my wife bought a song on iTunes and it loaded onto my iPod. More recently I bought the actually CD and loaded it onto my iTunes. This caused a problem because whenever I tried to play that artists on my car, it would only play the purchased track. I then erased the purchased track (as it was contained in the album that I have more recently loaded). that erased the entire album from my iPod. I tried to reload the album (I even erased the tracks from my iTunes and re-ripped the album) and now the album shows up on my iPod but not the artist. And suggestions?
  4. I agree with you on one level, but I think this situation could've been handled more tactfully. Acting like a dick in public in response to someone else acting like a dick in public solves nothing and does not make things better for anyone involved. That kind of public reaction can only have a negative impact on business. It's not what Andy wrote, it's how he wrote it. It also opens the door to accusations if for some reason 706union's next order shows up messed up...hmmmm...could it have been on purpose? It's just opens a lot of doors that are better left closed. That same respones could've easily been sent by email or PM. Yes, the same argument can be made for 706union's post, but that wasn't the case. Trashing him publicly for airing a grievance publicly is not the answer. I agree, that it doesn't solve anything but I don't fault him. I'm sure these cats work hard and I know I hate to sit there and stomach when someone choose to handle a grievance in a very public, "I HAVE BEEN WRONGED!" sort of way. I don't feel Andy's response was meant to be the end of a business transaction but rather an employee expressing frustration at a situation that occurs all to commonly in an era where people can complain on a public forum as opposed to actually contacting the company you have a problem with directly.
  5. I'm gonna chime in here and say it's outright silly for people to be like, "No way Andy, the customer is always right. You gotta take it". I work in sales and we never have and never will have a "customer is always right" policy. Yes, if something is wrong (or even inadequate for the client) we do everything in our power to fix it, but if I client thinks they're going to get what they want by stomping their foot and insulting us we reserve the right to say, "sorry, that's outside of our policy". Now admittedly, that's a bit more PC than Andy's response but it all comes from the same place. Additionally, I wouldn't take customer service from Scott, a guy who reacts to criticism of his work (AP) by asking, "What do you do for a living so I can insult it". I got no personal beef but pot and kettle.
  6. True story: I just got a package from VC and the packing slip said: "Hey Punk, It's Virgil. I'm drunk and packing orders. YAH!!" Also, said package was in great shape. I dunno, I like VC about 100x more than most faceless companies that impossible to get in contact with.
  7. Soo...Here's an interesting question. I like to shit, can I just drink a quart of salt water and shit? Also, how long between consumption and shitting?
  8. So remember kids, extortion is wrong. Stabbing a guy to death, probably alright.
  9. I do the pizza and milkshake fast. I eat nothing but Pizza Hut and McDonald's Milkshakes for a month. You really feel it flush out all the unwanted toxins in your system and your shit has an awesome color and sometimes smells like strawberries (depending on the milkshake). It's awesome.
  10. If someone needs a place to stay for the Bottom of the Hill shows, I live about 40 minutes out. Not real close but if you want to travel it's not bad and it's free.
  11. I where my pants about 2" below my nipples, so no.
  12. Also I believe "Far" comes with the CD, at least the store copy I bought did.
  13. Good albums. the new one has some ups and downs. It's definitely more middle of the road than her older stuff but not bad. I still like "Begin to Hope" more.
  14. Anyone use this shit yet? I avoided it because I hated the commercials but I'm working on some marketing for work so I thought I'd try. I enter "California Meeting Planners" (as we're a venue) and the first thing I get is the definition of "meeting planner" it's like the exact joke they make in their commercial. Thanks for sucking.
  15. I suddenly want to stab someone in the leg with knitting needles.
  16. Seriously you guys, who's been -1ing me? Not that I care but you know who you are and you know you're a dick. But like, it's not important, I don't care but I know I've been -1ed like every hour for the last three days. It's so stupid. I know I've dropped like 30 points. Not that I care but you should know I don't care. (repeat every 2 weeks until internet explodes)
  17. I want to start a scene gang now. Who wants to roll at this years Fest? We can wear FFU shirts, "Fuck Fest Up", and demand beer and stuff (yeah, I really didn't know what else besides beer...I ran out of steam).
  18. Still no California date. Bummer. I was really looking forward to catching Ninja Gun. At least I got Austin Lucas and Two Cow Garage in September
  19. True, but that's my point. Is when they go to Washington, they tell the check out people they're from Oregon and apparently get a pass on sales tax. I don't understand or care too much about it, but the love it. Old people love saving money on shit.
  20. I think all states are like, and it's only with internet sales. If you buy in store you have to pay the tax regardless of the state you reside in. Naw, my parents are from Oregon and apparently they get no sales tax in Washington. They always bring it up when they buy stuff there.
  21. Does the sales tax apply to out of towners? Like in CA the sales tax is technically only supposed to be applied if both the resident and the seller are CA based. It's why labels like Fat and Asian Man have a "CA" option for shipping.
  22. Not to be the Debby Downer, but don't put too much thought on the "surprise". Seriously, unless you're the kind of neurotic guy who proposes after a month, chances are if you're thinking about it now, she's been thinking about it. It's still nice to surprise her but women love to know you're that kind of guy and actually talking to her about it tends to be something they really enjoy. Anyhow, that's just my two cents.
  23. Be sure to look into shatter resistant glass products. That way you can make sure your balls are safe in the jar they'll be kept in.
  24. There's a huge difference from having a scripted promo and cutting it with one mic and one camera and having to sit in a press conference and speak candidly with people.
