  1. I was wondering the same, but without the posters (i.e., is media mail faster/better than first class?) Oh, and I bought TLA on black and colored... any guesses on how long til these sell-out?
  2. not gonna lie, I was hoping this was about "them crooked vulvas" (though I would have been really shocked if they had recorded anything, much more an entire album)
  3. all i know is that this is one of the tracks is ""spit shining shit" which was supposed to be on the new falcon record. don't know if it has the same title anymore though. there used to be a video on youtube of it but its not up anymore according to interpunk (who just posted their presale), its: 1 - Spit Shining Shit 2 - The Slowest Drink At The Saddest Bar On The Snowiest Day... 3 - Them Angels Been Talkin' 4 - The Redness In The West
  4. and for the record (no pun intended), 36 crazyfists aren't shitty (though I'll admit I like this album less than their previous two)
  5. What's everyone's problem with the way pre-orders are set up? I think every time a record I wanted was being pressed/repressed, I saw it on Interpunk at least a month before it was released, with VC adding it a few weeks later, so it doesn't seem excessive to me at all. Furthermore, every time this has happened, I've emailed VC to see if they were going to get the album, and they said they were waiting until they had more info to post it on the site, which seems pretty responsible to me.
  6. I was going to until I saw the price of shipping (the sale has been up for ~4 months). I think I assumed it was red, primarily because I didn't even know there was a black, though they claim "the only RED VINYL copies of Mobilize in the world." I'm probably not much help...
  7. If you're referring to my comment, I was actually being serious (not sarcastic, though I can see how you thought I was)--I was glad that it looked like effort was put forth to protect my order, and it seemed like something worth expressing my appreciation.
  8. Also, I appreciate the uber liberal amount of tape that was used on my box--not sure if it was a recycled box or if you ran out of 3+ varieties of tape, but I'm glad to know that my records were being taken care of.
  9. #23/32 (same forwards as backwards = extra points, right?) on blue and I like the "Unauthorized Duplication is Inevitable" on the back... not sure who put that there, but it's clever
  10. it's a 180 gram black vinyl in a gatefold sleeve w/ a download card (just opened the box from interpunk)
  11. just to let people know, Nerd Alert Records just reopened their store and they "appear" to have the colored Bad Religion records, as well as at least some of the NOFX records (not sure if they have them all because I don't know how many there were)... at $16 a piece... (note: I haven't tried ordering them, but since they specifically list them on the home page, I'd imagine they have some in stock)
  12. got my broadways vinyl today... it's black and as advertised (looks just like the last press), though I haven't listened to it yet
  13. Just got an email newsletter about this from asianman... "Here are the LP restocks for all you vinyl enthusiasts: Lawrence Arms Cocktails and Dreams (repress of 500, Chicago Flag colors), Broadways Broken Star (repress of 100 on black), Ben Weasel These Ones Are Bitter (repress of 100 on black)." I know the Lawrence Arms one was already mentioned before, I don't know about the Ben Weasel one, but this is the first I've heard of the Broadways being repressed... (as of the time I'm writing this, the newsletter wasn't online yet)
  14. I'd rather have worship & tribute, though I'd much rather have a new glassjaw album in general... but decadence would also be cool
  15. How did this happen? I went to the store to buy Bad Religion's Suffer and No Control, and ended up with four Tiger Army records... Already spent 150% of my arbitrarily determined vinyl budget for September, and we're only 7 days in...
  16. as someone who just started collecting vinyl late last year who's been waiting a year to be able to claim that he had a copy of each alkaline trio album on vinyl, I'd be fine if cobraside decided to repress Crimson as a 4 LP, 180 gram, 45 rpm boxset with 40 variants as long I could get one... (someone at Cobraside's probably thinking that's not such a bad idea...) maybe I shouldn't have said that...
  17. I was really hoping this was to inform me of a repress... I emailed Cobraside back in April or so the day it was removed from their website, and if I remember right, they just said "it's delayed"...
  18. just wanted to let everyone know that the band does have some of the puke colored vinyl on tour (Collapser, not Pass the Poison), least they did last night in mpls. $12 just like on the website
