  1. hey epheron. i was gonna post this on vlv but i hadn't yet. looks like opened in NM it sells anywhere from $40-70. Make an offer I guess?
  2. original Tomato Records version, NOT the recent reissue pressing. This record is still sealed! I might also be down for trading too, let me know if you're interested!
  3. Arch Enemy, In Flames, Finntroll, Satyricon, Opeth, Emperor, Taake, Ensiferum, Fimbultyr, Nightrage, Insomnium, Omnium Gathrum, Old Man's Child, Norther, Borknagar, are all some of my favorites not listed yet I don't think...
  4. I want that lanemeyer and the knapsack true to form 7"'s. You going to the Queers?
  5. haha man that would be strange! But i'm assuming this person has a tivo and after seeing/hearing that grabbed the webcam or whatever to put it on youtube.
  6. SOUND EXCHANGE! - Indie, Punk, Emo, Everything new and used Really the only good recrod store in Houston. Cactus - some classic rock used stuff, lots of reissue vinyl solid place Vinyl Edge - lots of rock, punk, too much to dig through but as long as the owner isn't there you can get some good deals. But it's aaaalllll the way out by Intercontinental Airport and is far away from alot of us Houstonians Sig's Lagoon - not usually a goldmine of awesome stuff but a sweet independent store that carries toys, cd's, and other fun stuff Half Price Books (there are a few in town) - lots of classic rock, country, jazz typically and sometimes a punk record or two. I work for Half Price so I am a little biased haha Also, every two months there is a record show at the Hilton at 59 and Hilcroft, the next one is in October but I don't know the exact date.
  7. man i didn't see this till today. guess i better double up my springsteen listening to make up for it. gonna put Nebraska on now
  8. I grabbed the Nightrage LP, Burzum LP, and an Arch Enemy shirt. Stoked.
  9. From my hometown. always fun live. It's funny to me how both dudes are from houston but neither Valient Thorr or Dillinger are from houston.
  10. Here comes a regular (at least it's my favorite today)
  11. i hope they called the tow truck companies in the area. a van with a trailer taking up more than 1 parking space, could feasibly have gotten towed.

  13. crazy price. I figure for that price they should be hand numbered and autographed by the 3 members. Maybe even a personalized note haha. $150 is nuts.
  14. thats the whole point of the album.. That may be true but to me with horns on 11 or 12 tracks, it began to seem a bit forced and maybe even a little cheesy at times. I liked the idea alot, and if the horns had been on maybe 7 of 12 tracks, I don't think I would have any issues at all. I'm glad they added horns so it doesn't seem like they are putting out the same album over and over, just as I really dug the addition of the keys in the last album. These guys are keeping it fresh and I respect that alot, just peronsally I would have preferred it if horns hadn't been on 11 of the 12 tracks. Just my thoughts...
  15. Its good for sure...but the horns get to be a bit much. I mean it's a great idea, but on EVERY song?? come on now. Still stoked to see them soon
  16. Panopticon is such a good album. Some of it reminds me of Still Life, which is a good thing for sure. Glad it's been repressed.
  17. maaaan I would love to see them again. I saw them about 5 times while they were together, but that is one band I might be willing to travel a good distance to see again. Hope they hit up Texas!
  18. Flaming Ember - Sunshine Isley Brothers - It's your thing Delfonics - Best of Genesis - With Peter Gabriel (some random import) Wilson Pickett - The Exciting Wilson Pickett Lil Flip - You gotta feel me
