This band, Manners, has been around in the CT New England area for about a year now and they're starting to gain a serious following. I want to do a small press of their new EP Apparitions on vinyl as well as their old EP Escapism. Like two EPs on one record. I just want to know what people think on this board about this band. Good or bad, it doesn't matter, I'm just looking for unbiased opinions. This album is too good for words. Hostage Calm has completely changed their sound. It's really interesting and different, but you can tell that the writing is coming from the same band. You will not be disappointed.

I picked up this big kids record at warped tour in Hartford last Sunday. I haven't stopped listening to it. I hadn't heard of them and bought the record on a whim and I think I may have found a staple band that I will come back to over and over. Its just dirty grungy pop punk party music and I love it. The bonus track it so great. I'd love to see Big Kids make it out to New England possibly on tour with Grown Ups and Pinsky. That tour would rule! Anyways solid release and great band!
