  1. Can you put pictures saved in your computer into your signature? If so, please tell me how. Thank you!
  2. Skankin' Pickle - The Green Album and several other Skankin' Pickle albums and 7"s are on vinyl...I think the Green Album usually goes for anywhere from 10-20$ if not less. Not that bad really... http://www.ebay.com/itm/SKANKIN-PICKLE-LP-w-inserts-DR-STRANGE-records-xsi-/370519939054?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item5644b597ee ok, buy it now for $22, but that still isn't terrible...
  3. Speaking of Big D, does anybody know if their new b-sides album is going to be pressed to vinyl?
  4. No Doubt announced the release of their new album "Push and Shove" on September 25th. The first single on the album will be entited "Settle Down" and will be released July 15th. I'm really hoping this is going to be a return to their early days stylisticly. When I saw them in 2009, they played a good bit of older stuff and also a cover of the Skatalites classic "Guns of Navarone". Also Keeping fingers crossed for a vinyl release of this album. http://www.billboard.com/news/no-doubt-to-push-and-shove-on-sept-25-1007303952.story#/news/no-doubt-to-push-and-shove-on-sept-25-1007303952.story
  5. man...I'm getting a kick out of the Hitler thread...What a nut job that guy is...
  6. Oz definately sounds like the best records store in the area, it's just that Tuscaloosa is so far away from Gadsden area. I might have to take a road trip some day just to visit there some day. I've only been to Charlemagne in b-ham, and I wasn't all that impressed with it, both with the staff and selection. I also like to go to Criminal in ATL for RSD cause I have family/ friends there that I can spend the night with and wake up early for the next day. So I guess Oz has a pretty good selection of new stuff?
  7. Well to be fair, I've only been here about 2 years. Originally from Charleston, SC and before that from West Virginia. And is Oz in Tuscaloosa any good for RSD? We've been driving to Atlanta to go to Criminal Records for the last 2 years.
  8. as far as I can tell, mine was just the US plain black version, but it was a steal at 1$ and in that condition.
  9. Bruno Mars and... No Doubt - Got Tragic Kingdom on vinyl with a t-shirt for like 10$. Couldn't pass that up... My girlfriend always tries to make me sing "I'm just a Girl" when we listen to it. Also took my little sister to see them for her 15th birthday, and I have to admit it was awesome.
  10. Albums I'd love to see pressed for round 2: Let's Go Bowling - Mr. Twist Stubborn All-Stars - Back with a New Batch The Suspects - 99 Paid The Rudiments - Psychoska The Aquabats - The Fury of the Aquabats Big D and the Kids Table- How it Goes or Gypsy Hill Wesbound Train - ANYTHING. I have the Check Your Time 7" and I know any albums of theirs would sound killer on vinyl...
  11. http://www.greendayc.../crbst_104.html I was actually wondering what the value of these are seeing as they're limited to 1,000. Any Green Day fan have any idea? If anybody has some good ska/reggae records or anything I may be interested in to trade, I may be willing to let this set go. I will let you know that on my copy the sticker is torn, but other than that I got them still sealed and have only played them may 3 or 4 times. If you want pictures of my copy, let me know. I know I'm new, so I will let you know that I have all good buyer reviews on eBay. http://myworld.ebay.com/davidrhillis
  12. http://www.ebay.com/...=item19d153192b Toasters Live in Brazil Test press!
  13. Got a bunch of stuff in great condition at an indoor flea market for 1$ a piece. Everything is in great shape. Most notable: DEVO - Q: Are we not men? still sealed! Elvis Costello - Spike Also went to the Third Man Records RRS last month to try and get ahold of the Lightning bolt "Blunderbuss". Instead walked away with: The Dead Weather - Sea of Cowards The White Stripes - White Blood Cells
  14. Real name: David Favorite Bands: The Slackers, Westbound Train, Green Room Rockers, The Forthrights, Let's Go Bowling, The Chinkees, DEVO, Bomb the Music Industry, The Flatliners, Off!, Anything involving Jack White... Ska/Reggae will always be close to my heart, but other than that, I've got a pretty eclectic taste otherwise. Hobbies (outside of record collecting): I play drums and keyboards, although currently not in a band. Also some videogaming, although haven't had much time for it lately. Also I like to frequent estate and yard/garage sales. Play in a band? Run a record label? Link us!: I played keyboards for now defunct band, The Modern Men when I lived in Charleston, SC. Would love to play again if I found the right band. Random things you want us to know about you: I think the Lillingtons "Death by Television" LP is the most valuable record in my collection.
  15. For ska/reggae fans: Just got the OOP Forthrights "Other People" 7" from ebay for 5 bucks! I thought with it being OOP and the Forthrights gaining some popularity, it would go for much more than that.
