I've been a long time member here on the VC board, since 2007. I still collect and thought it would be fun to share an upcoming release I'm part of. The release, One If By Land "American Crows", will be released in November. Our band will be new to many of you. This is our third LP. Please check out a music video/new single below and a link to order if you enjoy it.

Shake up the Shadows was an excellent EP. The clip to this album sounds great. I love when Wollard's vocals come in at the end of the clip. Cool transition. Light This Up was a bit of a dud. It sounds like them, but didn't have the same HWM spirit.

Loveless deluxe was $56 shipped to the US. Thanks for the heads up.

This album is on its 4th spin already for me. I rarely listen to a single album that much in one day. So great.

Got mine today. Turned out great. Some of the cleanest vinyl I've seen from GZ.
Are we sure that digital downloads of the bonus material will be made available now that they are out, or is this going to be exclusive to the vinyl release? The wording in the announcement email wasn't super clear ... 'This does not include the outtakes from the Boxset, as we’d like to keep something special for the official release'.
Reply to your shipment notification email from Hello Merch and ask for your download of the Outtakes and Oddities LP and you should get it. Specify if you want FLAC or MP3.

Yeah, the record is ~53 minutes long. That's over 26 minutes a side. That's going to be some tricky vinyl mastering if it's going to sound good at all.

Can't wait for That Thing You Do! According to the auction, we'll get the full soundtrack on LP and the single featured in the movie on 7". Can't wait to see the art that Mondo puts together for this.

Are they lossless or mp3?
I wouldn’t get to wrapped up in them being inly 16bit. Modern 16bit files from 24bit transfers will sound much better than 16bit from the 90s. The quality of the source material, in this case the original masters, and the digital converters will make all the difference.
The download I received had both FLAC and MP3, however the FLAC were released as 44.1 kHz, 16 bit files. They sound incredible, but I do wish he released them as 48 kHz, 24 bit files. They're worth it though considering the huge improvement made for Comfort and Magnified.

Are the remasters available to purchase anywhere or can you only get them with a download code from the vinyl box? These all needed new digital transfers so I’m glad it finally happened.
They recently made the albums available for digital-only purchase:

Magnified and Comfort are greatly improved. It sounds like a completely new production. Ken outdid himself on the new mixes. The remaster of Fantastic Planet has a little more low end and the low mids are little different, but nothing drastic.
From a sonic standpoint, this was already worth the $$$. Can't wait for the physical release as well. Excited to hear the b-sides too.

This is cheap and looks badass!!
Thanks for the heads up! Too good of a deal, especially with the coupon code above.

Bought from DeepDiscount and they sent me the wrong record. As soon as they exchange for the Filter record, I'll report back on the sound quality.

Some people find he messes up the vocals, as in that it's not clear enough to comprehend. Some of my fav albums come from the hand of Yip, so I'm stoked about the collab
Same. Bands have been choosing him for a reason. He's a good producer and I've enjoyed a lot of what comes out of his studio.

It is wild how poor it sounds. Like, lots of people had to listen to this final master, right? How did this get by the band? How did this get by PV?
Exactly. Someone in the TGUK camp (friends, family, label, studio engineer) should have said, "is this REALLY what you want?" I get that saturation/driven signal path gives a track some liveliness, but this is over the top and takes away from what are some decent songs.

Man, normally I’m not one to complain about the production of an album, but this one sounds like total ass. Like, I spun it on my turntable and legit thought my stylus was worn out, then I played it on Spotify and realized that no, it’s just mixed very poorly.
Agree. It appears whoever either mixed and/or mastered this applied way too much saturation on the mix bus or master. The high hats and cymbals are so shrill it's hard to listen to. I kept listening all the same and the songs, for the most part, are great TGUK songs. I just wish the mix/master was approached differently.

I've been waiting for this for a long time. Definitely Filter at their best. I still listen to this album a LOT. Can't wait to hear it on vinyl.

I'm also looking for Lost In Translation soundtrack if anyone comes across an extra. I'll throw in a few bucks for your troubles.

I prefer this record to their others. Instrumental progressive music suits them well.

Chris, I'm obviously behind you on this as well. Great record.

Anything beyond A Boy Named Good is unlistenable to me. That being said, I got my boxset in the mail yesterday and I'm pretty stoked on it.
Yep, agree with that. Superstar Car Wash and Boy Named Goo are highlights.
