I've got a handful of test presses. mainly i only try to get a hold of them if i already have complete collections of the album/band. i just hate how most people want outrageous prices for them (some labels included) I do appreciate the labels that do test pressing contests though.

i thought that they were red & green, because mine looks just like that too. I assumed it was just one of the variants that is way different like those yellow/black smoke decline ones that look almost green/brown.

There is nothing stopping you messaging Dead Broke directly and asking man. If they are raising money to put out new records, I'm sure they'd be open to offers on tests. I've missed out on a Shitty Rambo test twice now. Oh well. Did anyone see how much the other records went for? EDIT: Shitty Rambo - $72.93 Down In The Dumps/Tiltwheel - $20 and the Jonesin/Dude Jams, Landlord, Dragonzord, Jack Palance Band tests all went unsold! i messaged dead broke when not like this first came out and they said they only had 1 extra that was going to ebay. so i wouldn't expect to see another one for a while

Haha i'm not complaining at all because i don't buy them/shop there. i'm explaining why i don't bother to buy the hot topic exclusives and why it would be a annoyance if i did want to. I have no problem with multiple variants, i collect a lot of them actually. Oh and i'm not sure where you got an extra half hour from, seeing as I stated the 2 that do carry vinyl are an hour and a half away. meaning its an extra hour(at least) for me to drive to one of them. Either way i'm still looking at these how i did, sorry you're opinion isn't going to change mine

i'm thinking its more like: 150 green 350 clear 500 red 800 white 1200 blue green has barely been showing up, clear is probably just a little more rare than red since they didn't list it. white was available on its own so i figured it has to be more than red and blue is still available and they usually do the most common color at least out of 1000 on bigger order items like this. i really wish they would give us some official info though, i'm not expecting to see it for at least another 2 weeks

how are they cash grabs? the fact they keep releasing albums "exclusive" for hot topic when another label is already releasing them or they are getting "exclusive" colors(nofx,dropkick, bouncing souls). sure the hot topic pressing usually comes out first (TOYPOAJ is a perfect example). However i think that tri-color looks kind of lame and at least the packaging is a gatefold but for $19.99 i don't consider that getting my money's worth. Where as I can wait and buy this from RJ who will put a lot more effort into the packaging and will probably even include the bonus tracks and it will be about the same price. but another thing about the epitaph exclusives that annoys me is that the hot topic's that carry vinyl in store are somewhat randomly placed. I have 2 hot topics within 30 minutes of me and neither of them carry vinyl. But i have 2 other hot topics that are both an hour and a half away that both do carry vinyl. most of the exclusive colors don't make it online or don't last long enough on there. and they keep pressing different colors of the same albums within like 6-8 months of each other. i'm not bitching about what they do, i'm just saying to me it seems like its being done to pull more cash from people they know collect those certain bands.

supposedly they never really broke up? but i remember them saying they still had been writing stuff and had a bunch of demos done. i think they just said it wasn't really feasible for them to tour at the time so they were doing other things for now. also super excited about this. i'll be ordering all 3.
