  1. there are some technical difficulties while they were setting up (they did have a lot of shit to check), but after that, it was pretty incredible. their cover of "the perfect drug" was top notch as shit!
  2. release show at the loving touch! will definitely be there, i haven't seen them with ben drumming, except for the nine inch nails set they did for halloween.
  3. very nice! there's also a version of the "long distance (alternate mix)" that they made for the slumberland anniversary shows last year, that have drawings of flowers on labels. i'll try and take a picture of my copy soon.
  4. It sounds like Spoon, but with shitty vocals.
  5. i do this, too. and would LOVE something like this. although, i tend to just listen to albums all the way through when i listen to music, anyway... so i just accept the fact that even though i fell asleep, i would have finished listening to the album.
  6. My band played a show with The Demon Beat over the summer... they kick so much ass. So fucking good.
  7. i've got two tickets for the guided by voices show at the riviera in chicago, and i'm, unfortunately, not going to be able to attend it. i'm looking to get rid of them for $20 each ppd (this price is very negotiable). i will ship them UPS next day air, as the show is on wednesday. somebody buy these, please. thanks.

  9. the elected - me first nirvana - bleach patton oswalt - werewolves and lollipops the postal service - give up the rapture - out of the races and onto the tracks sleater-kinney - the woods sunny day real estate - diary the thermals - more parts per million ugly casanova - sharpen your teeth velocity girl - ¡simpatico! honorable mentions: reverend horton heat - somke 'em if you got 'em beat happening - you turn me on and that carissa's wierd single... their "suedehead" cover was top-notch.
  10. i haven't heard much by them, but what i have, i've liked... their cover of jawbox's "68" is totally fucking killer.
  11. http://www.joyfulnoiserecordings.com/ might have some left... i'm not sure, though, as their cart allowed me to put 102 copies of this into it.
