  1. OK. I like songs. So...there's 2.5 LPs worth of him introducing the songs?
  2. Post Script: I got the cartridge and the stylus off last night. Just waiting for the replacement now.
  3. Thank you. That's what I thought. I ordered one off of ebay just now. $12. Crossing fingers. Will put the back up on the slab for the time being.
  4. On Thanksgiving my daughter mahoobered up my turntable. She squished the stylus onto the deck of the player. Really love the thing and I want to get it working again. When I try to use it now, it sounds like the record is kind of underwater. What could make it sound like this and how do I fix it? Thank you!
  5. Oh. It's that kind of party? Here's my first press. I didn't ask about it. I did review their show in St. Louis back in the summer though. You can read there here if you so desire: http://glaciallymusical.blogspot.com/2018/06/concert-un-at-sinkhole-61318.html That's where I got my shirt. They'd said they were trying to raise money for some vinyl pressings on the tour, I'd assumed it was for Tomb, then Translation Loss put this monster out.
  6. Yay! Someone else knows Un!!! I still want their debut on vinyl...but it's not a thing. I have the original pressing of that one.
  7. Late to the T-Shirt Party... But I'm just waiting for someone to see me in my Un shirt and get excited and know who they are....
  8. Euclid Records still exists? Damn. I had no idea. Oh wait...I'm getting Euclid Records confused with West End Wax.... Either way...they both left the CWE-Queg.
  9. Again, it was the selling point for me. Without that show on vinyl, I walk on...with... I spend $200...(Even though lots of it was gift cards and Amazon Chase points...lol) I've also got this download code I'm never going to use...Metallica sells it for $120... I might be willing to sell mine.
  10. The rough version was almost like listening to another album. There was quite a bit that was edited out later...interesting stuff for sure. Would love a vinyl pressing of it, but meh. Now, had I an OG version, I would've sold it to finance this one just because of that Seattle Show...I love love love that show. I ended up getting a chance to spin it on Saturday evening...which is better because I could drink all the beers while hittin' it! As James said at that show..."it's beer drinkin' weather..." That Triple LP...it's wow....it's also interesting how my memory of it had changed the timbre of loads of it...
  11. That is correct. It is just on the one CD and not the vinyl copy. I can live with that. The main reason I picked up this set was for the Seattle concert pressed onto vinyl. That's earmarked for Sunday Morning when I've got hours to myself...I'm going to blast the shit out of that show. So far, I've listened to the rough mix/work in progress CD, Live At The Troubador (before Justice was released) and now I'm listening to Live at Long Beach Arena. Even though there's a turntable behind me, I want the first time I spin these to be on my set at home. I'm well past thrilled with my purchase and the fact that I got it for less than $75 in cash makes it triple better!
  12. I'm in heaven right now. The Rough Mix has the bass guitar. So...if you passed because of no remix with the bass.... sorry.
  13. I just got my Amazon shipping notice. I'm a happy boy. It was listed as arriving on 11/13 till today...and I'm going to be in Wisconsin then...far, far from my records.
  14. Welp. I guess I'll just have to purchase one and see for myself. Especially since last night I had Alexa playing all the King Diamond at my in-laws' house. I mean... Welcome Home...that's a Halloweenie song about King's grandma right? You'd think my daughter and her grandmother would've appreciated this delicious slab more. But here we are.
  15. Did anybody pick any of these up? I'm thinking about snatching Spider's Lullabye and Deadly Lullabyes....just because those are waaaay expensive nowadays and they're my favorite releases by the King. Do they sound ok?
  16. It messed me up on death metal for a week. Everything else sounded so boring after hearing this...
  17. Junkpile Jimmy has released "Wants You Dead" a Slide Guitar Death Metal record. It's strange AF. BANDCAMP My Review
  18. I can't remember... Did I tell you to preorder the latest by MASTER? My splatter copy is arriving in mid-December? I have it on promo...can tell you, this is the shiz.
  19. I figured this could lead to me finding it! Sadly, I'm in a broke zone. =/ At least I picked up Choice Cuts and it's got a couple in there.
  20. We need a re-press of these.... and If I had those two...I'd have my four favorite 90's death metal releases on sweet vinyl....along with Covenant and Legion.
  21. I've decided to put this album on my watchlist and watch it. Maybe it comes down. Maybe my screen doors, brakes, stove, tires, etc all get paid off and my finances re-loosen.
  22. 7Degrees Records just put out Dephosphorus's Impossible Orbits. I was lucky enough to get a promo copy. Normally, not a fan of Grindcore, but this band seems like Grindcore done right to me.
  23. Absolute truth. It's a great album. Their last was also amazing and they didn't try to do it again...they did a new thing. They did what Mayhem tried to do (when I saw them last year), but Cultes des Ghoules did it AMAZINGLY WELL...so much better.
