Unless they skip it because the Nexus S is being released with 2.3. Nexus S will become the new developer phone, but Nexus One will still be first in line to get the OTA update.

Froyo is Android 2.2. It was a huge update released a few months ago. Amongst other things added Adobe Flash support, 720p video recording (handset specific), wifi tethering, increased overall speed. Android 2.3, Gingerbread, was released to developers this past Monday. It should start rolling out to consumers by the end of the year. Improvements are said to be massive UI overhaul, new keyboard, and a bunch of other shit. If you want to get more out of your phone, check out XDA Developer's Forums, http://forum.xda-developers.com/index.php. Lots of stuff on how to root and unlock your phone, add customer roms, kernels and apps.

you guys don't have froyo yet? I don't understand why certain carriers and handsets don't push the updates as soon as they are released. hell my nexus one should have gingerbread by the end of the year.

saw H2O in Baltimore last night with Wisdom in Chains, incredible show. anyway H2O announced that next year in honor of their S/T album's 15 year anniversary bridge9 will be reissuing it on vinyl they also said they'll be having a covers album next year. I know, covers are lame, but I remember back in the day H2O would always play random covers live at their shows, and they were pretty awesome. also the "it was a good day/I want more" 7" is good shit. other notable news was toby's son has a 7" coming out soon (i think the kid's like 6 years old). and expect new music from Hazen street (if you're into that)

I download music like crazy. Don't feel bad about it because I've literally spent thousands of dollars on vinyl, directly supporting artists. and, to contradict myself, I honestly don't give a shit, I'm a firm believer of the "the artists should be happy enough that I'm listening to them" mindset.

Hmm I have the green copy at home, can't remember if it's solid or clear. I'll check when I get a chance, outta town til wednesday though. edit: bridge9 does a pretty good job updating their pressing info on their site, and I'm pretty sure there's only one green listed. out of 300. I'll still check mine when I get home, I want to say I remember it being opaque, but more green than yours looks.
