Agreed. the artist's liberties with the hair ruins it for me. A good tattoo, but does not match the photo.

I'm fairly certain it has nothing to do with money.  There were a few more comments on the Bosstones twitter page.  Genuinely seems like they just wanted to do it themselves so they could have something they are proud of meet their own standards.  Can't blame them for that.

 

So the Bosstones just posted on Instagram that they are against any Bosstones reissue by Asbestos records, including the one from today. Sounds like the Against Me! thing all over again.

 

 

Sucks! Joe Gittleman said they wanted to release it themselves but Asbestos wouldn't let them.

I'm still waiting on my copy of L Shaped man I preordered from bigcartel back in March...

Thanks dude! I drove from FL to Atlanta when he was down there a couple weeks ago.  Always told myself if he was anywhere near me I would get a rose tattoo from him! Glad I had the chance to.

I'm extremely disappointed.  

 

It's nice to relive the shows, I watched the whole thing in its entirety and enjoyed that aspect, but I thought this was a documentary.

 

The "interviews" were very short, and most of them were in the trailer.  I agree, I have no idea how/why this took so long to be released.  I feel like this is one of the few bands that would have a very interesting story to tell and with such a large fanbase I'm sure many people would want to hear some of the untold stories.  Everyone knows this band was inspirational across the board, I don't need to hear the singer from Touche Amore tell me that.

 

I know it was inexpensive, but I really don't think I would have bought it knowing what it was.  Hate5Six posts hundreds of shows with great audio and video for free.

I never got my Coretex release, was about to email them and after doing some research it looks like I never paid for it!  I have an email receipt from coretex for the order, but somehow my paypal was never charged.  And now it's sold out!

Horrible thing to happen to anyone.  I have friends who are friends with Tom, and have always heard nothing but good things about that guy.

 

I watched Suburban Scum from the back of the room at TIHC, and cringed hearing Karebear say shit like "punch someone in the face, I love that shit".  As if that type of attitude isn't bad enough, apparently he's the kinda guy who jumps someone half his size over "pit beef".
