Our new album is out on cassette as well as vinyl/digital.
You can get in it here:
https://adagio830-records.bandcamp.com/album/the-sum-of-our-scars
or cheaper in the US from me.
Review from strictly no capital letters:
punk n hardcore veterans here churn out a fresh and exciting emotional hardcore record. features scott from amber inn / sinker. it's a bit of an update on amber inn, perhaps taking on board more influences from sarah kirsch. big riffs and lots of energy. exciting record, sits nicely with that red hare album that came out the other year.

This is out on cassette now as well. Available from the bandcamp page.
You can get these from me. (I won't have the cassette for a week or so, but I have everything else now.)
LP - $15ppd (I've got a couple red ones left)
Cass - $7ppd
LP/shirt - $25ppd
Cass/shirt - $17ppd
all three - $30ppd -
This is out now. Members of Pitchfork (pre-RFTC), Amber Inn, Sinker, Filibuster, Bureau of the Glorious, and about 100 other bands. Sounds like an angrier version of those bands.
You can stream in here:

Bandcamp for digital or vinyl purchases:

US stores should get it through Ebullition.
Cassette out soon. Short NoCal/OR trip in June. Europe in late July, starting with Fluff Fest.

FFO: old age and general anger.
Come say hello.

Bumping this thread just cuz there's a shitload of hilarity tonight in Whirr's Twitter. They're trolling all and everyone and so many panties getting twisted up.
Haha. Being a bigot is funny, isn't it?

Best band. Good to see these back in print.

But there is no better indicator of how someone will perform in the future than how they have performed in the past (ie, how they performed in school).
No. Just, no. What they did in school may or may not have anything to do with they are doing for work.

I have a M.A. and I make 30K a year.
Non-profit sucks.
Speak for yourself. I'm very happy with my career at a non-profit. Sure, I could be making $250k/yr with my graduate degree, but I like to feel good when I go home.

You're funny, telling me not to buy records that I've been waiting for since 98. I've been to their concerts, supported Jonah in all his other projects and never had to chance to purchase two of my favorite albums. I would have been happy with one colour only, but this is Far. Supporting the band/label/SRC that makes an effort in releasing this is what counts.
Except this was done w/o the band's ok, so you aren't really supporting the band.

How was Econochrist?
Great every time I saw them. I never got into their post-Ruination recordings, though.

Personally, I maintain the case was used by democrats to drum up racial tension and black turnout leading to the 2012 elections.
Hey, fuck you.
-
Mean, I assume you still have that copy?
Of course.
I also keep a list of every show I have been to, although pre-1992 is missing a few details. Always fun to pick through and pull out specific bands.

What memories of Op Ivy do you have? Hard to imagine anyone under 40 having any kind of memory of them at all.
I saw them play about 10 times, including the "last" show at Gilman. Bought the LP the night it came out (David Hayes had them at a show in Davis, CA) before anyone at Gilman had a copy. Went back to a friend's house and rocked it multiple times at 2:00AM.
-
That song is pretty good (other than Lint's comical accent.) But please no Op Ivy reunion. Let's leave the good memories of that band as they are.

Shaun Lopez is easy to find and he did not know about this until last week. Shitty way to do business.

Ahh, didn't realize there was another Hum thread.
-
In before "old news."
Should I have read the previous 19 pages? I thought that statement from Talbott was new.
-
From the band:
The new re-issue vinyl copies currently available for pre-order
from Shop Radio are the result of a manufacturing and distribution deal
between SRC and Sony that is in violation of Hum’s contract with RCA. We
didn’t approve any of it and we won’t make a nickel off of it. Neither
party informed us it was happening and neither seems to care about our
thoughts on the matter. -

Ive submitted 2 entries to Discogs. I firmly believe its vital to the database that all us Discogs users take 10 minutes to add entries when we have something in our collection that is not represented in the current database. Its really easy to do. My only gripe is that they don't allow images that have too many pixels or is too large to be uploaded. Ive got a 16 megapixel camera that takes some beautifully detailed photos. Unfortunately, I cannot use it so Ive either gotta find an existing web image or use my phone camera.
Why don't you just make the image smaller on your computer before you upload?
