  1. What is Virgil email address please?? thanks! Antoine
  2. La Scie musicale means "The Musical Saw" in French
  3. What was the setlist??? He's coming to Ottawa august 27th, and I'll go regardless of songs, but I hope he plays a few old ones. Last time I saw him (I'm wide awake tour), he played almost exclusively this album (minus 2 songs if I remember correctly), which is great since I love this album, but it wasn't out yet so nobody really knew the songs... I like to go to shows and know what the band is playing
  4. Apart from your CD's, what else did they steal? That collection must have been amazing. Who the hell steal 600 CD's? They stole almost everything I owned. Shoes, my winter coat, even food in the freezer/refregirator, a broken guitar, etc.... The worst is that they stole my computers and the external HD where I backup my pictures, but they also stole DVD where I had burn them for more security... My bass, amp, telephone, video games and dvds (they left my girlfriend 2 yoga dvds!). They broke the turntable, but didn't steal the records. I didn't really mind though, I took the insurance money and used it for the down paiement on my house!
  5. Thanks a lot Marc! I really appreciate it! I'm sorry I can't help you with the Sweet Action demos.
  6. Ok, I didn'T know bout that, sorry if I asked for mp3....
  7. They stole almost everything I own in my appartement, on christmas eve while I was away. Shoes, my winter coat, even food in the freezer/refregirator, a broken guitar, etc.... The worst is that they stole my computers and the external HD where I backup my pictures, but they also stole DVD where I had burn them for more security...
  8. Hahaha, yeah, I guess it is! But I rarely/never use ebay, so never thought to loook for cds.
  9. Marc! Yes, From downtown was the cd I had! I'd really like the mp3 if possible! Thank you! Chiefwahoo : Thanks man, never thought too look through ebay!
  10. I really can't find the b-sides/out of print/rarities thread. Did it got deleted when the board changed owner? anyway.... So 4 years ago 600 of my cds were stolen in my appartement. I manage to find most of them back (buying them back used, buying the records, etc..), but some I really can't find, even online. I had a ska radio show 10 years ago, and got records from bands from all around the world, that's maybe why I can't find some of them back. So, if anybody have these records and could send me the mp3, I'd really apprciate it! Out of Order - Eye Caramba One cool Guy - Can't remember the title In Dying Days - Life as a balancing act and now, the stuff I'd really like but doubt anybody will have. Spliff Sounds - Any songs.... It's a band from spain, mostly looking for the song Too Many Loin Groin - Australian ska band, mostly looking for the songs Chicken Parma and 747 (Time to start lovin'), but I'd love any song Also, a band from england, they had a song called 'Plastic on the beach' young band (in 2000 at least) more pop than ska... long shot, I know. Thank you very much everybody!!
  11. Thanks a lot Wiggs! I love the record! I sent Errol his gifts!
  12. I've never considered records as a collection. I just start buying records because they (use to be) were cheaper than cds. What I collect is Comic books and Bande Dessinées (Franco-Belge stuff). I'm always looking for new stuff and I talk a lot about that. I REALLY love comics.
  13. From Autumn to Ashes maybe? They are more hardcore tough...
  14. Got my gift today! I got Year of the Ox by Fucked up! Thanks alot... ??? I don't know who he/she is.... A canadian who loves the flatliners and has been on VC a bit... The Only Canadian who participated (or who don't show the place where they are from) : Errol (more into Hardcore than the Flatliners I think) Scott Wiggs1441 My guest would be Scott! 33% sure! Funny story : I received two parcels today, one from ShopRadioCast and one from my SS. Both contained the FU lp. 100% my fault. I ordered it a long time ago and it was held at SRC for some Pre-order! I didn't add it ot my list.Still really happy about my gift! I love that band! Anyway, thank a lot!
  15. I don't think we'll qualify, Porto is WAY too good. But I have confidence that we'll beat Coimbra. Second team overall goes to the C1 qualyfing round, we can still hope for that! We won't finish above Porto for sure, you're right
  16. Força SCP! It's going to be tough to qualify for the champions league next year, but we will win the C3 this year! They HAVE to beat Coimbra this weekend!
  17. I love most genre of music (Ska/Reggae, Punk/Hardcore, Indie, alt-country, a little bit of rap...) My favorite bands are Hepcat, Drag the River and Good Riddance. The thing I love more than music are comic books! I have a pretty big collection (around 4000 books), and maybe 200 busts/figurines/toys (mostly Marvel). I also love sports (Soccer and the Ottawa Senators!) I love to read Vegetarian Thats about it!
  18. Ok, I got my secret Santa. Everyone should post a little bit about themselves for people (like me) who don't know the person they got. I know it's still possible to get someone you don't know something awesome, but I think it still can help to know theyre personal taste!
  19. Where can we get this except from interpunk??
  20. Anybody who preorder the record got the mp3 download? Can someone please send it to me? I've email Virgil last week about it, but I never got an answer. Thanks in advanced!
  21. I was also there, and I have never seen a musician as drunk as Chad. He was pretty funny though. They started drinking pretty early, I saw them at 6pm at the Beau's Oktoberfest 1h30 from Montreal, and they were already drinking a quite large amount of beer on stage, even leaving the stage to refill theyre glass.
  22. So i'll finally see Drag the River next sunday in Montreal, and I haven't been excited for a show in YEARS! Probably since me and my friend learned about a good riddance show only two days prior to it in 1997, when we had no Internet (only slightly exaggerating). Anyway, anyone know what songs they play when they are with the band? I'm really curious! Tnank you!
  23. Wow, Karkwa, the French canadian band? Their is a conreversy here in Quebec since they won the Polaris price last week (best canadian album, all genre), some people are saying they won because they were 4 french speaking judge out of 11 on the panel. Last year winner was Fucked Up by the way.
