You definitely won't find Graffin, he bails instantly. You might get lucky and run into some of the other guys though. True north is great, but if you haven't, you should give No Control, Against the Grain and Generator another listen.

If I'm remembering correctly my Swd doesn't have nearly that much smoke. I'm probably wrong though

It looks just like a standard orange record with very little black smoke. At least mine does, definitely not as good as the photo made it look

I hope to have something similar when we get a bigger place. Preferably with record store style shelving but a room full of expedits looks really nice too

I really don't mind going to shows alone. I've driven 4 hours each way alone a few times before. Luckily most of the shows I go to are in Houston and only an hour and a half away. I'm also lucky that my girlfriend and I have very similar taste in music so she's usually more than willing to tag along with me unless she has to work early the next day

For real, i thought an extra LP got slipped in by mistake. The quality of that whole package is incredible.

I had no idea this was a book first.

Also, if you're a beer guy, check out the Petrol Station on Wakefield. It's amazing, always a ton of good beers and they have my favorite burger in Houston, called the Rancor. Burger, bacon, fried egg, cheddar, Swiss and whatever vegetables (I go plain) and they have some really kick ass Parmesan Garlic fries.

I'm 90 miles north in Beaumont. I'm in Houston all the time. A good place to go get a haircut is Big Kats. There might be a wait, but it's quick and worth it. There is also a record store, Sigs Lagoon, right next to it. Other record stores are Vinal Edge (my personal favorite) on w 19th and sound exchange on Richmond and Hazard. Soundwaves on montrose and west Alabama, is a surf shop but they have music and vinyl too. Not a huge selection though. I'm not sure if Black Dog Records is around anymore or not, but they're expensive anyway. Pizza: Pinks pizza is killer, that's probably my favorite out there. It's mainly take out but you can walk up and eat inside, I usually do that. Star pizza right by cactus music is pretty good too, if I'm getting pizza in Houston is going to be at one of those places. If you like Mac n Cheese you should check out Jus Mac. It's a restaurant that sells only Mac n cheese and it rules!! If you have anymore questions feel free to message me dude!

Anyone have any suggestions for record store style shelves? Ive seen the blueprint plans that originated from some audio karma thread, so if you have any new or different suggestions I would appreciate it

I'm hesitant to buy this at all before hearing it. But I just went with the tri color. No bundles for me.
